ICS with magpul moe motor grip?

So i am looking to going two tone, and tried an old a&k pistol grip on my ics, but the angle of the grip was so far off i could see my gearbox through the crack of the grip and receiver. So seeing this, would a mapul moe motor grip work on an ics/olympic arms gun? considering the angle of the motor engaging with the bevel gear would be off, as it was with the a&k grip.

No. The grip does not work. A friend on here gave me his MOE because even with major sanding and modification, it couldn't fit correctly. I'm sure there can be one fitted for the ICS, but an AEG grip does not fit.

I have one that I modified to fit one of my ICS guns. It was a pain to do and even though it fit the body correctly, it seemed to hold the motor at a weird angle to the bevel gear. This caused it to be noisy. Just krylon your original grip if you want a different color.

I had little to no difficulty with the MOE grip on my ICS, it did require a bit of file work towards the back, the area which meets up with the gun. However the China clone MOE grip was a PITA to the point of not working at all.

Slightly blurry pic of Magpul grip on ICS gun. (Black is China replica, Tan is China licensed)

Is that an olympic arms ics? Cause i have that so would there be any difference in how they mount? And when u say a licensed china grip, does that mean its still a clone?

This is the version of ICS M4 which I originally purchased, it has Olympic Arms trades.
http://www.icsbb.com/web_e/html/02_p...ind3=24&num=40

However I also tried the grip on a second hand ICS lower, with ICS logo as the trade with no difficulty.

PTS which is lincenced by Magpul to be produced in china

against unofficial copies of the design

Element version is made of low quality plastic, has no 'MOE' trades where you would wrap your thumb, but I think it did on the base of the grip. It also had a cheap plastic height adjustment screw instead of the metal one on PTS versions.
