Here is the thread for the upcoming events. If you have any questions, please feel free to post. Don't forget, this is a 2xx series event so mission will be more specific and BDU and mags will be more important too.

That would be very nice but when I checked Saturday the only thing that looked close to done was the bank. I am eager to see the new improvements when they are finished, it will be a blast clearing all of these buildings!

Argh, yet another event I cant attend, unless of course I want to run around with 4 holes where my wisdom teeth were the day before... I dont think that is a good idea!

I had two removed last year and I went back to work that afternoon. I was fine the next day... you might be too.

I will see about it Locutus, I am long overdue for an event... Marching season has eaten all the time that I have and I get to celebrate with a healthy dose of maxofacial surgery!

I will try one or two missions using some landnav so yes, bring what you got. I will give such mission to specific groups. Obviously, volunteers are more than welcome since I do not want to force anyone to do it.

Otherwise, I want to remind all players that matching top and bottom BDU are strongly recommended for this event. If you show up wearing mismatched parts, you will most likely be separated from your friends but even worse, might not get your field access granted (no refund).

I'm definatly going to to make it for this event. Blade I'm going to PM you later in the week about a Prop I'm constructing....Shack kinda got me started on thinking about these now.

On that note I did feel bad for the kid wearing Tan uppers and Green lowers...(Or was it the other way around?), at the last event. I think every breathing player must of shot at him last weekend.

UPDATE;

If the numbers stay the same, it will allow me/us to run some sweet milsim missions, which mean more strategy and tactics than the usual "you are here, he is there, shoot at each other" missions type.

We are getting into the cold/rainy period so from now on, ALWAYS expect some cold or rainy weather. Hoping not but better be more prepared than not enough.

blade, my team and i are going muticam we have a few guys that dont have muticam but do have tan based camo. so will we be able to stay together?

UPDATE

Got the chance to go at the field this weekend. Even though the forecast is looking good until Friday, I doubt the pond at the bottom will go away in time. That mean I will have to find a way to keep you all out of the open field, more specifically the Western part of it. I did not have time to walk the east side but since the drainage is better, we should be able to use Browntown this time.

As a safety reminder, don't forget to bring warm and spare clothes for this weekend. we have to expect the weathers to be high 50s or so. It might even rain so also remember, I can't cancel event unless it is a thunderstorm. Make sure you know this before showing up at the chrono.

It looks like not many players were ready by 0930 last event so i will most likely run the turkey shoot or an open game before 1000am this time. we almost lost more time starting at 0930 than the regular time....so I guess I need to find what what did not work and not do it again

Don't forget, BDU and mags restrictions are in place...and don't forget to update your RSVP....

For those truly interested into realism, make sure you do bring the field map and also your protractor. No worries about scales.

Gentlemen,

Less than 48hrs from the event. As of right now, if I look at the roster (including the guests) and the emails I received, we should be about 50 (tan) versus 31 (OD). the weather forecast is showing 63deg with Sunny all day. the field is partially dry (the pond in the West side of the open field is still there) but should not be a problem for Goldcity, browntown and even the airfield this time.

As a sinde note, the bank is now completed even though I just got enough time to get one window done.

Don't forget to bring your red rag and make sure you have top and bottom matching camo!

DON'T FORGET TO UPDATE YOUR RSVP STATUS...
