Chillicothe Open Play 10.31.09
Wraith and the rest of CHOAS Thanks for having me and the rest of Team PAC out for a fine day of Airsoft. Sorry you had to leave early and sorry that your guns went down, we all have a gun breaker on our team. Get with me about the roof raising. Look forward to playing again. Thanks again for a GREAT time! And Swervin and Jackson you filled in nicely!! Nice playing with you.

Thanks to all who braved the elements and came out yesterday. I apologize for all the delays we experienced. Luck just was not with us it seems. But I think everyone still had fun, and that's what we were trying to accomplish.
Despite my own equipment problems, I had a blast. I always like battling across the top of the hill, and throwing in the ability to gain full auto capability seemed to work out pretty well. We may have to incorporate that in full time. Maybe with the tape in an undisclosed location. PAC and TOAST, good to see you guys again. We will be in touch with you guys and a few others soon. Buzz kill, thanks for bringing the team up. We hope to see you guys at the field more often. Hope you guys had fun. Firedog, we will be taking you up on that offer. I personally think it would be better (as well as safer) to remove the roof completley and start over. I think we should add more vertical support in order to run at least one more load bearing header. But, a second opinion is always welcomed. We will let you know when we plan on heading back over. Yeah... my guns being down...it was pretty bad when my m4 went down. But not to fear, I had my back up. But it wasn't feeding right, so I switch to my m249...which broke the air nozzle. But not to worry just yet, Swervin has a backup MP5 which I borrowed. But it kept jamming on me. My radios, all three of the ones I had with me, would only recieve not transmit. The one weapon I had which did work right (my sidearm) I only had one mag for, and I could not find my boonie. Made me mad at the time. But now I am sitting here looking at the gun cabinet and the staus of the rifles: AK 47:down M4: down M4:down L96:down M249:down AK74:down.... Super 9: .....well okay, but I haven't used it in a few years and that is the only reason it is still working. Who put that thing in my cabinet anyway? ![]() I can't help but to laugh about it.

Heck, you shoulda went ahead and came on out. We keep our open plays laid back, and would've been glad to have you out. I was there until 4 and Swervin had a group stay later to make up for the late start and all the delays. You coulda got a game or two in anyway.

Team T.O.A.S.T. had a lot of fun.
Aside from the initial terror caused by the realization that my charger didn't work, having my helmet cam come detached due to moisture one hour in, and my (brand new) $50 headset breaking beyond reapir, everything went great. I'm glad I finally got to try out my KWA M4. It worked better than expected. Also, the guy we dragged along to this event is planning on getting into airsoft, so that's always a plus. I saw good sportsmanship all around. Sorry to the three Green/Civ guys we ambushed during the bomb planting mission in which tan was defending. I think you sat there for more than half the game. The same goes to the four of five guys (I believe) the other half of T.O.A.S.T. ambushed walking down the northern open path. Also, much respect to whoever it was on the Green team who had the guts to charge up the hill unarmed during the final capture the flag mission. My teammate was the one who scared you off by firing a few shots at you before you could get to the flag. Thanks Wraith and C.H.A.O.S. for hosting this event. We look forward to seeing you in the field again.

A big thanks to all of you that came out despite the rain. We made the best of it and personally I had a great time. The games were fast paced with good sportsmanship from both sides. Good to have PAC and T.O.A.S.T back out to the field it's always a pleasure slinging plastic with you guys.

Will do Firedog. I think we may run over to the field this weekend to do a cleanup and search for lost items. Who was it that lost the M14 mag? Was it ever found?
