$844.00
Raised for the Honor Flight Program.

You all should be proud. Your turnout and enthusiasm will give three WWII veterans the oportunity to see their war memorial. We will be in contact with Earl Morse, the founder of the program, and deliver a cashiers check in the amount of $844.00 noted from area Airsofters. I can't thank you enough for your time and some for thier efforts to travel for a good cause. I'm hoping for a resonse and will share it with all of you if we get one. Again, thank you.

Now on to the fun part.
Japanese:
Moved quickly taking Pearl Harbor and then moving on to securing the "Fat Man" bomb part in the American HQ. Japanese then held that position. Japanese succeeded in moving supplies to Germans.

Germans:
Secured Paris quickly but failed to secure London before American troops moved in. Germans held Paris and slowly chipped away at American forces near London. After a long battle the Germans took London. Germans the proceded to mover torward American territory. Germans with the help of the Japanese exchange supplies and destroyed the airbase.

Americans:
Started strong moving and taking London. At one point moves around German forces and secured "Fat Man" bomb part. American forces held London until their force dwindled. Americans put up a good fight but were slowly pushed out of their HQ. Lacking a coordinated counter attack, the Americans slowly lost ground all the way back into the creak bed.

Observation:
Americans lost their cool. Many players sat and did not respawn quickly alowing the op force to take advantage. It is important to get back into the fight. Many fought without moving. Plenty of time the Japanese forces took casualties the Americans did not take advantage of this. Americans also failed to use their shifting spawn position to their advantage. At times the far end of the creak was weak and could have been a point to move around on the Japanese or German Forces. Without a clear objective, just pick one and go, their team spread out and were shut down.

Game ending early:
We are sorry we had to pull the plug. Many Americans were threatening to leave or just not fighting. Complaining about who you thought you shot gets nothing accomplished. Anger and yelling is what brought this game down. Cheating was unfounded and the accusations were way out of control. We ended the game before we had a fight. Not a good thing to do guys for an event that was for such a good cause. We hoped that the short break would settle the issues, but players continued to complain and shout at others. Don't assume you hit someone because you spent X amount of dollars on your gun and you unloaded 2000 bb's. Bad attitude cast a shadow over this scenario.

Close Quarter Combat:
Ease off the throttle guys. There were a lot of full auto close shots today. We were all shooting under 400fps and I saw a lot of face wounds. Not cool. You guys need to control yourselves. It is just a game.

Overall:
This was a good day overall even though it turned into more of an open game than we wanted. Americans were out matched and we will work on that for planning next event. A majority of players were good sportman and played well today. We had a few bad moments and tried to correct them. In the end we raised money for a good cause and had fun at the same time.

Thanks again!
Evil

I had actually a lot more fun than I was expecting to. I figured that it'd be another event that I would be thoroughly disappointed with - turns out I was wrong, because I had a hell of a time.

The 08th and the 97th, I had a lot of fun working with you guys today. There was a lot of goofing off going on, yet somehow we still continued to do what we needed to do, and we did it pretty quickly. The improvised games afterwards were fun too.

Good to see the Cincinnati guys again. SPEAR, good to see you guys again.

I finally have a ducket.

Rick roll... 08th and 97th, I am not surprised.

I had a great time. The americans held out well for being so outnumbered. It is unfortunate we did not give you enough players. Maybe next time something like this happens, we should just have the Japanese turn on the Germans.

SPEAR, you guys did a wonderful job hosting and planned it out very well. The human factor just did what it does. Thanks.

Evil head for President!!!

Just kidding bro

You did do a great job with the event, lots of fun. Thanks to all the new people that ran with me on the German side during the battle of Paris. That was a sweet shootout! It was my first time running with the 6MM and Decoy did a great job as CO (golf clap). I didn't get the crap shoot out of me as bad as most of you and after seeing some of the bleeding faces I feel lucky. I did have a few A-hole moments during the open games and to all of you, sorry. See you all next time.

I stopped out for a few mins to check it out. You all missed me!, well cept for gary brad and link and a few others getting their guns worked on.

EH, i said it a few times and i'm gonna say it again. Tis truely honorable this game you hosted. I would be more than happy to see another charity event like this going for such a good cause again. Its a shame that i couldnt play, however i'm getting paid to be in this michigan town to what appears to be an all hot and sexy all girls town. I'm not kidding! i've seen a good 90% girls to guys ratio and 80% of the girls are all smokin! My boss is gonna have to up my salary quite a bit to get me to come home!!!!!

Hats off to you SPEAR guys!

Kong, no problem man. I didn't catch the name of who you were shooting, but I was the one yelling back at you saying give hime a chance to yell out. Obviously being a lot closer to him, I was able to hear him call himself out on the first burst. I just like giving SAW gunners a hard time about laying on the trigger.

It is good to the be the king. Wait. I mean, Kaiser. No wait, I mean furher...I'll stop there.

It was a blast rolling with all of my Geman bretheren. I'm happy to report that I heard no accusations of our German team not following the proper medic/death rules. The fact that my improptu briefing of "don't make me look bad" speech worked is amazing .

Evil Head and SPEAR, that you guys for putting on this event. Not only for our entertainment, but also for a good cause. Bravo!
Phalanx, 08th, Stormblade, and the rest of my Japanese friends out there it was an honor to share the field of glory, sorry I mean paintball field with all of you again.
Output, CONTRACTORS 4 LIFE!!!
Colossus and the American forces, nice to see/meet you guys. You really make it difficult to get a grasp for me to figure out what was going out beyond my line of sight. Those trees and the antiques shop were defended well, good job.
And to steal a line from Merc... And the most thanks to those WWII veterans for giving us the ability to hold a fund raising event for them!

Wow, just got home. That was one PAINFUL drive. Two 5 Hour Energies consumed and I almost died only a handful of times!

I have never been to Red Dragon before. However, I did hear quite a few negative things about the field. So when I decided to attend this event, I didn't have very high hopes. Getting to and finding the field was a major pain, but I was pleasantly surprised with the layout of the field. A little small, but actually impressive for its size.

And now, my thanks:
Evil Head, YOU SUCK!
SPEAR, a decent game for an important cause. There were definitely some things that could have worked out better with this event, but I already gave EH my constructive criticism, so I will refrain from posting it on here.
Japanese, it was great running with all of you, together we changed the course of history.
Americans, you guys put up one hell of a fight for us near the end of the first mission. I don't think I have had to walk back to respawn that many consecutive times in such a short period of time!
Germans, thanks for giving us some much needed help. I was honestly worried the entire event that you guys would turn on us at some point. Glad that didn't happen
91st, I think that was the best I've ever seen you guys play. And yes, I know that isn't saying much But hangin' out with you guys was a definite blast (like always).
97th, I rarely get to run with you guys but I had an absolutely great time doing it. I think we really worked well together and would love to get into some more firefights with you at my side in the future (except for Kong).
Phalanx, great working with you guys again. Next time I go to an event that you guys are at, we gotta sit down and BS a bit.
Stormblade, I've barely ever gotten to work with you but it definitely worked well. We didn't work with each other that much, but we definitely felt your presence on the field.
6mm, always a pleasure being around you guys. Its just too bad we didn't get to work together during the actual game.
Decoy, WWTD? He'd hold the line!

For those of you I didn't get a chance to converse with, make sure you find me at the next event so we can shoot the breeze. I always enjoy meeting new people and I can only start up conversations with strangers so many times a day. There are still so many of you on these forums I still don't have a face to go with the name.

To everyone, I hope we all had a lot of fun for a good cause. There were some definite attitudes happening on the field and I really hope that this changes. Remember, we are a community, most of us know each other in some way. The guy you yell at for supposedly not calling his hits might just be somebody you will have to fight next to at your next event. Remember people, this is a game, so lets put our problems away and enjoy the game!

Thank you all,
Thank you for allowing this overweight man and his space gun AEG play and feel like a kid again. However this morning I feel like an old man. This was my first time out and I will have to say, despite the negative vibe from time to time, you guys impressed me. I expected a very rude group, don't know why, but instead everyone I talked to was very helpful. I can't wait for the next event, maybe I could drop 10-15lbs. by then.

Just wanted to say thank you from a noob.

I know there was alot of greif over no guns over 400fps before the event. I had a great spot watching the fight for london and paris and the U.S. and the german's had no trouble at all lanching thousands of bb's 26+miles across the english channel .

From the possition i had for the morning the game went great. The only thing i could add is the U.S. was the meat inbetween the bread, you had to know you had a big fight on your hands all day. If things start to slip away take charge and do something, don't wait to be told or to see what the mass'es do. If you have to grab a few guy's and go get an objective or two. Just because your not the leader means you don't need to know all your team's objectives. Everone needs to know and work together.

That's ok, every game is a learning exsperiance. A very good thing was done and the next game will be better.

Great game, beautiful day and and a wonderful cause. I wasnt aware of the fact that half of the American team had stopped playing due to frustation until the end of the first scenerio. So from what I saw, I thought sportsman ship was excellent for the most part. It didnt become aparrent that so many people where unhappy about sportsman ship until my group and I where at the Airfield right before SPEAR called the game.

Thank you SPEAR for taking the time to organize and execute this game, Everyone from N. Kentucky had a great time and left satisfied. Sorry we couldnt stay for the third scenerio but many of our batteries died and many of use where exhausted from both Honor Flight and a inprompt 4x4 game the day before.

Oh, and if anyone finds a KWA Glock 19 magazine laying around, please tell me.

Great game. Got to know some people (Hkrazy, Steel, Link, others), did some business, helped a cause, nearly killed myself carrying a 40 pound case a mile up hill, and broke my gun yet again! SPEAR you guys did a great job making sure the game started on tim eand stuck to objectives, although the medic rules were kinda forgotten once into play, and face shots were a bit of an issue, the day went well. A great event overall, good turn out, lots of players, can't wait to do it again.

BTW: Anyone find a black North Face shirt and a flight glove? PM me if you did.

There was one that was found. BlackSeven was the last person I saw with it. So the SPEAR guys should be able to tell you where it is, unless they "found" it .
