M14 EBR under 200$

Im looking for a m14 ebr for under 200$.
The KART and Echo1 models seem to have been discountinued.
Any help is appreciated.

New, that isn't going to happen. You'll have to look around multiple forums for people selling them.

Also, this is in the section, goes in the classifieds. I know they look cool, but I hated mine and it sat in the closet rather than the field.

A friend of mine had one, incredibly impractical, heavy, and just too large. If you want a modern, ergonomic M14, get the shortened barrel used for urban sniping. I believe no one makes M21's but you could mod an M14 to become a M21 as well.

The G&P kits are aluminum and only around 12 lbs but are around $375 just for the body. The KART are 16-18 and although they are heavy, you can get used to it, at least I have.

I looked at the MCR too, and i liked it. Im not looking for a sniper rifle as much of a battle rifle. Im a big m14 fan as well as picatinny rail lover.
Does anyone know of a good combo for that whether beig sold as is or buying a regular m14 and then buying the rail seperately?
-thanks
Andrew

I built a EBR platform and it's more for looks that function. You can pick up a M14 Scout and get the same performance minus the weight. I wouldn't touch a CA/G&G M14 because they're not TM spec which most aftermarkets parts are built around if you do plan to go the EBR route.

Back in my day, I remember when they were called SOPMODs (I'm pretty sure it's a whole different function, I'm just having fun)

If you're looking for an EBR like they did in MW3, it's not meant for that. It's not an assault rifle, it's meant as a Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) which can be squad based, but mostly, it's for bunkering in and "sniping."

The type of rifle you would want for this, unless you're jacked out of your mind, would be an SR-25 or SR-15 or an AR variant of some type. The weight of that in airsoft would allow you to run around all day with a squad, and still outrange people. And you can pick up one of these bad boys for under $200.

I want to make clear though, they're gorgeous and I've definitely dipped my interest in these before, but I just can't afford one.

Edit: SDSport...those are gorgeous! I'm gonna go change my underwear now.

I'm a little worried you don't have enough guns.
