BE magazine question.

I have a g36, src, and jg. I recently found some mags at an off brand store the other day and was wondering if anyone knew if the mags where worth while? I found a pack of 4 brand new 40rd mags for 15$ but the manufactor is a company that usually made lower end guns and nothing very major at all.BE *Both Elephant, i believe?* I have seen some lower end compnays make ok mags sometimes and i dont really like high caps, so it seamed as these were something to look into for the price. Upon doing some reasearch there is not alot out there stating the quality of these mags, just web sites saying a cheaper alternative to mags for the g36 series. If anyone knows how well they feed or has any personal experience with these, please let me know.

I know they are pretty cheesy plastic. You can find decent midcaps for $50 a box if you look on eBay. Some local community retailers may be able to help you as well. If that's a problem for you, pony up the cash for the M4 mag adapter and rock out some M4 mags instead. You can find M4 midcaps for as low as $3 each.

Honestly, it's more important to have mags at the end of the day then to spend 15 on mags that can be broken by jello.

Right, but as stated in the original post, "I have seen some lower end compnays make ok mags sometimes and i dont really like high caps" I'm just looking for a few extra mags for this saturdays event, And with shipping from anywhere they will not be here by friday. I'm simply looking for the best way to get some mags...well working ones before satursday game. What really caught my eye was, yes they are cheap, however will they work? So far everyone who has a g36 mag to sell me wants 20$ a mag and i might as well get them new if thats the case lol, but and yet again it goes back to what i was saying nothing will be here by saturday so right now looks like im running with the 3 i got.

Am sorry to say, but that is the price of running a non-M4 AEG and something you, as a consumer, should consider BEFORE investing in a platform. The g36 magazines have always been expensive and that fact has not changed since 2003/2004 - when they first hit the market.

If memory serves, the articles I read about adapting the BE guns to marui magazines required replacing the BE magazine well. That would indicate a slight variance on the BE mags from Marui design. I had two BE guns in a parts bin a few years back. The plastic in both were very brittle. I still have the stock from the g36k and it dimensions are off from the Marui gun.

Check out the reivews on youtube:

The cheapest reliable G36 mag I have run was G&P midcap and they were still about $20 a mag. The King Arms and Mag brand midcaps, IMO were not overly reliable and the MAG brand had to be modified to feed properly. As stated before, get the M4 mag well, that is the least expensive route running a G36.
