Modern US Winter/Snow combat loadout?

I have been looking for a long time trying to find some pictures or even illistrations of a Modern US Combat loadout for troops in a White winter enviroment ( I know we havnt had a conflict but still you would think they would have SOME kind of training atleast!) I just got the idea after seeing some pics of the SEALS in colder climates. I would love to see some pics of US troops in some kind of white camo (I have already seen the USMC SNOPAT, but what about the Army or Navy?) I havnt been able to find anything that is to recent though what I find alot is from the 80's or early 90's. I would like to see something more recent (Also by some chance come across Rangers with a RG rig I would be giddy like none other! )

(sorry if this might be in wrong section and/or already posted, I did use search to nothing to my satisfaction)

ACU seems to work a little better in a white, snowy environment.

it works best in dessert environments though. that is why the army developed it.. but i have always thought acu would be good in winter, find some light brush to rest in...

Better yet wear your jacket inside out. Instant snow camo!

If you get a snow loadout, the Army way is probably easiest. Get white painters overcloths and toss that over your normal gear. Most snow gear is baggy and simple.

Remeber to use it at a game you must still be identifiable as a member of one team or the other.

I think the ACU in the bushes looks pretty good. The thing I have been doing for what seems like forever, is trying to find the Digital snow pattern. it's like ACU but it's mixed with more whites and some light grays. I saw it at airsoft con and now I regret never buying it cause I can't find it anywhere.
Maglips has suggested Bleaching an ACU, figured I should find some ACU cloth to try it out first.

Well I have a pair of White covers, tops and bottems. From what I see it will work. I am just wondering then. Do they have their rigs on under the white covers? Just seems odd to see a few guys in the field what looks like just the white covers over the ACU. Also do they make white MICH 2000 covers?

as you can see from the pics some wear their gear underneath and some wear it over the smock.

With much sweating I took these pics (ITS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE 80 FREAKING DEGREES IN OCTOBER!) I dont have ACEWWWWWWW(ACU) I use Multicam mainly but do have MARPAT woodland and plain ole BDU's. But i have my MC under the Whites. Also just trying out a White PASGT cover on my MICH 2000 with alright results.

Helmet and Thick balaclava (I think GI issue got it at surpluse store and has plastic inbetween layers)

OD GI whool cap ( I LOOK 15 I KNOW )

anything need changing (exterior wise was not going to put on the cold weather gear under all that, I would have had heat stroke!)

that ACU looks like it would work great back in them pine trees in that one photo. the russians have a really good snow camo outter that can be had for about 45 bucks ( I will be going that route). i would highly suggest getting the gortex parka and pants and maybe a fleece liner for them. then wearing the white over that. remember the number one thing too staying warm in winter wonderland is staying dry and you wont be doing that without good ol gortex.

I think white is great if you are sticking close to the group. But if you are moving alot than I think a brown tree bark based camo is best. Woods in the winter is ruled by all tree bark and no foliage. I think what may work best is a white and brown break up bdu.
