Lightbulb M1911 KJW Full Auto Debacle

I'm going to try to be a concise as possible, so I don't end up rambling

I received a non functioning KJW M1911
I worked my magic
I decided to experiment with the leaf spring (bent forward to exert more pressure on the sear / disconnector)
I now have a full auto M1911

Not a mag dumper, not a slide stop cheater, not a sputter, spitter do-wanger, hoosie-do's, hoosie don't's,
(I've attempted 2 other full auto builds which ended up in mangled BBUs, shattered sears, and crushed dreams)

One 50rnd Mag, 10 Second fill - Propane, 85/100rnds
Two Mags worth of video, same fill of gas.

Notice that semi is still capable in controlled taps
After 35rnds the gas runs dry with 15rnds left
(That's nearly two mags off one charge, and a short charge for an extended gas reservoir)

I've narrowed the cause down through part swapping with my Tokyo Marui build, swapping pretty much everything but the BBUs
I've also taken this gun apart more times in the past week to rule out it being a fluke

The sears are in excellent condition

Same effect with both sears

Tested two different WE tech hammers, as well as the KJW hammer (Which broke earlier on in testing)
All good. All good.

Now here's the deal breaker. The only difference, besides the BBUs.

Left TM || Right KJW

Now I just went upstairs and swapped both leaf springs from both guns and my results

KJW - KJW LSpring - Full Auto Capable
KJW - TM LSpring - Semi Auto Only

TM - KJW LSpring - Semi Auto Only
TM - TM LSpring - Semi Auto Only

Is it the leaf springs, the harmony of my guns internals and dremel work, or some other witchcraft?

Regardless to say, I've put 500 rnds through her already and am looking at putting a thousand or so more at the range this weekend.

If someone out there has a KJW 1911, please bend your leaf spring forward to exert more pressure on the sear and disconnector (at your own risk) and reply with your results

A picture of your lower chassis mechs would also be helpful

Thanks

I have one, but its earmarked for a new outer barrel, compensator, pistol grip, and a stainless grip safety.

Well if I could just pin point the cause, then I could sell this gun already. Hopefully for less than what I'm already asking if it turns out to be nothing "special"

Mr. Black had posted an article about building the full Auto Hicapa by just tweaking the fork spring/leaf spring. if I had a spare leaf spring I'd be happy to accommodate you. But you have to be careful with the WE springs, they are not properly heat treated so they are soft instead of being hard. That's why WE develop the trigger/hammer issues.

Incidentally, the part you are looking for runs $14-$16.

Thanks man, I'll look for that article now.
I have a few leaf springs lying around, but I'll look into getting a better material one soon as I confirm the behavior is originating from the Lspring

EDIT:

Checked the posts by his UA, even perused his photobucket account, nothing that could help but he seemed like a cool character to have on the forum. I'd rather not hunt him down if he's been gone for so long.

I'll be patient.
