HPA tanks/Hop up

Alright, i posted before aand got some good advice as far as sunning my kjw M700 on hpa, and now that i know for sure that i'm going to do that I also need some advice as far as what tank to go with. Right now i'm looking at a pure energy tank and a ninja tank, does anyone know anything about those or any other tank to give my some advice before i buy a tank. Also, i'm going to install a polarstar striker spring, and upgrade the hop up.
On that note, does anyone know any good, compatible hop up units/bucking that will work in my gun? I'm slowly trying to make this a 300ft gun, and i know the hop up is my next step. I've already put a 6.01 tightbore in it.

thanks guys

pure energy and ninja tanks are both good tanks, if your buying a used tank make sure you get a picture of the tanks hydro date, its either 3 or 5 year from that date that the tank needs rehydro tested, carbon fiber tanks are much lighter then steel tanks and are worth the extra price in my opinion

You might eventually get up to a pressure where the gas cylinder will fail to fire because the hammer spring isn't strong enough to put the flow valve open. I had a guy bring me a gas pistol once that he was trying to fill straight from a CO2 tank off a paintball gun at around 800ish PSI. I know there are some gas gun mags that use CO2 cartridges, but I think those are only around 240ish?

BTW, to get a gun to shoot 300 feet (accurately) you're going to be looking at least in the high-600 to 700 FPS range, or more. I once upgraded a VSR-10 to about 620ish FPS, and it had around 250-260 feet of accurate range, but man, that bold was a mother to pull back, lol. And the guy I built it out for was a "smurf" (self-proclaimed, I swear!) and initially had trouble pulling it back himself. lol. I wish I knew whatever happened to that gun. Apparently it was "lent" to a "buddy" who later disappeared, the reappeared and "sold" it for "70 bucks". At least that's how the story went. Man that was a nice rifle though, and one of the best snipers I ever worked on. Oh well...

Good luck with your project. Let us know how it goes. Just read what you were trying to do though and that reminded me of the CO2 probably I had before with the pistol valve, and since the gas magazines are similar.... well, you get the point.

Yeah Darkstar, i can see where you're going there. I've been researching how to do this rig correctly for like a year and a half now so i think i have it figured out. I'm using an in-line regulator to control the fps i'm putting in the mag, i'm also upgrading the striker spring and using a crap ton of teflon to make sure i have a good seal on everything. XD
I've had this in the works for a while, and now i'm putting the plan in motion. The only things i'm not sure of is the hop-up. I know i'll be needing a hard type running this king of fps, but other than that idk. I've heard good things about the nineball bucking with this gun, but idk if it will stand up the the punishment this rifle is going to be dishing out. If anybody has any hop-up suggestions or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Big_Pep

firefly hard. A regulator. I have no idea on how to make this rig, but it would be awesome. I suggest the king arms chamber, the magazines with the stick mags ( easier to reload) teflon? yes! I utterly gave up on snipers.. DMR's ftw
