Question tight bore barrel and hop up

Well, my hop up Is going bad, so Iím think about just paying to get a new one, I have a stock a&k hop up and a 270mm barrel. Iím making an extension for It and Iím going to make It so It will fit a 509mm which I believe Is the stock for an m14. So I was Interested If anyone had a 6.03> about 509mm Inner barrel and a hop up, that... works better than mine.

The problem with mine, I have some .25g bbs and they donít feed through the barrel every time. I bought some used mags but they seem to be feeding well, Itís just the hop up isnít ... hoping them up. Iím shooting about 360fps so I donít think thatís the problem. And theyíre falling pretty quick So Iím thinking itís the hop up but I donít know a lot about Internals. And I want a longer barrel for greater accuracy.

If you could help, that would be nice. Thanks

I have a CA hop up that I pulled out of my M4. Nothing wrong with it at all. However, I do not have a tightbore.
Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Uh, you need to state what gun these parts will be going into, as hop ups and some barrels are proprietary. That said, if it's an M4/M15/M16 TM style hop you are looking for, I've got a barely used Guarder one, that I'm looking to sell cheap, pm me if you want it.

I'd suggest a new bucking... if you've used it in the cold, they tend to freeze and rip... Happened to me twice... Your hopup should be working just fine, broken hopups are a bit rare I'd put my money on the bucking...

If I get a 509mm inner barrel, will i need a different cylinder? for better/more compression? what other internals would you suggest for upgrading with the inner barrels? anything?

You would need a cylinder with a single port to add more airflow, but dont get a bore-up kit. That, or you could take one without a port and drill a small hole or two in the middle of the cylinder. You really dont need much more airflow but a little bit extra never hurts.

Wrong. You will need a non-ported or type-0 cylinder for a 509 mm.

Hey dude i have the same gun and my hop up had the same problem. So yes your right you need to replace the whole hop up unit. I did with the ultimate madbull 3in1 hop up and it works great! Besides i had to shave the sides thinner so it would fit in the barrel. And to fit a 509mm barrel, i hope you know you will need about 300mm suppressor or a shorter 155mm suppressor and barrel extension.

Also, a bore-up kit would work out good if you still have the stock m130 spring in it, but it dont sound like you do if it is shooting 360 or so but if you do, i am selling my internals from my gun and i have a modify bore up kit that worked great in mine, so if your interested in that you can tell me.
