very nice gun!

dont have the set up for rust blue.... no room.

but i have been doing some Black Oxide. thats space and smell friendly.

that Gory actually got KG GUNKOTE on it and that stuff is very very solid.

if you look at THIS picture its my blueing work with COLD BLUE...

always gives the worn look that i like on my war issued guns:

heres my MG42 build. THIS is a gun. :-)

My AR builds

my AR builds...funny thing is I have built a couple of these cheaper than an airsoft rifle....the AR15a1 cost me about 450.00, the AR15a2 slightly more $550.00. The Yankee Hill Machine DMR was built for about 750.00

I am so jealous of that mg42, I love the gun, I use to have a rubber prop mg42 from Saving Private Ryan. Me and some friends use to make WWII movies I left it at his house one day. His basement got flooded and it had to be thrown away. It was awesome. I miss it. If I still had it I would totally take a picture and post it up.

nice pix guys.

we love ALL guns at my house. real, airsoft even regular bb guns.

on AR's: it used to be fun & cheap to build them. now even if i mill my own lower i can buy them cheaper than make them.

if you make your own lower now you'll have $100 in it... $50 in a FCG, $50 in a rear stock/buffer/spring... $100ish in a BC group and then $350+ in a good upper set up... so that puts you at $600 ish in making it.

yeah i can do it a little cheaper if i catch uppers/components on sale but its tough to build one now for less than $500.

same on an AK.. i can build one for about $350.. can buy them all day long now for $375

so building your own is now all about "because you can" unless your doing a big money gun like the mg42 or a Bren & beltfeds...

what would you guys like to see in the sub gun range and if ive done it, will post it.

So, zombie apoc happens, i'm heading to your boy SDK's. I've got a couple years of non perishable food, firearms and ammo to throw to the cause. Next step is getting a full reload station. But yeah, I worked for a server company for 3 years searching for fraudulent clients. We used a few tools that could get us a community, address, last name, first name, search for legit phone numbers registered by the client and anyone who lives in that house hold. It was really stupid. Doing this for a while really made me realize how unsafe stuff is on the net. My job was basically all about making sure that the info we found related to the IP and members of the house hold matched the contact information that is provided to us. If it wasn't Id make a report and send it to admins to send emails our or what ever they did with it lol.

PS: I really wanna see a mp5... I'm like super fan boy over some mp5's

can show you my semi auto MP5.. no problem.

started out as a stamped piece of flat metal...... then we put it in our jig and press it into shape, true it, straighten it, weld the seams put the parts in and test it out.

yeah im leaving out all the boring details, but you get the idea.

here is the test video :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6e5QmIJ9SY#normal

and heres a pick of what you start with & what you end up with.

this is my rifle version with 16" barrel

ive got the pistol version too.

the rifle got finished off in HK black.

the pistol got finished off in HK GUNKOTE & its just a little too glossy for me.

will grab you a shot of that in a bit.

Well here's my HK G3. Not sure what happened to the original receiver but it works.

I checked the stamping on it and according to those stamps, the rifle was made in 1964. Telling from the last guy who owned it basically never cleaned it, it shoots great. And I've got enough magazines to last an apocalypse or two.

Got to love em'. I'd consider them just as reliable as an actual Russian AK but with better accuracy. Also, I'm a fan of easy field strips

You're going to Knob Creek as well? I will be too. I'm not a fan of drums, I just like magazines for collection purposes.
