ok here ya go.... these are made by a friend of mine on our site.... he sells them as the pile of parts and with just some minor welding skills and then a little location work.. bingo! puzzle piece AR!

yep this is legal. yep this is proven to work.. yep you can do this yourself just like most of the other guns we build.

hope the links work.

nice! I've been trying to re-invent the wheel, or rather the AR-15 lower, in autocad (still a WIP by the way, if the lack of buffer tube threading didn't make it obvious ). i hope someday to make it a reality, until then its just a fun, but annoying at times side project. gotta love having the know how and blueprints to make this fun stuff XD

yeah the threading of the buffer tube is the most important part of this puzzle piece set up... if your a hair too high.. or a hair off in any direction, its gonna make for a drag or bind on the bolt/carrier & recoil spring. you have to be dead on & we have some tricks for that but im not gonna get into those here. :-)

will post the aluminum version of this here in a bit.... another member who lives here in Ohio came up wth it... but he taps the buffer threads in his and leaves out the FCG's in order to stay in compliance....

Those XDs's...s are supposed to be awesome little carry pieces. I was thinking about picking one up for myself, but I just can't get over the way the XD series feel in the hand.

The XDs feels different than some of the XD. It is a bit smaller but with a more aggressive grip and it also has different back straps that you can change out. I was torn between the glock 27/30 and the XDs and the XDs felt better in hand. Just need to find some more .45s so I can shoot the damn thing.

will post pic of XDs with extended mag in a little...

Got really bored yesterday did some g19 mods. Combat cuts on mag well, removed finger grooves, undercut trigger guard and the stippled it. Posted the whole process on YouTube search HKATT you'll find it.

HK how does that feel? It looks like it'd be weird to hold. Is it still comfortable after you stippled it?

I'm afraid I don't understand what you are asking. What would you like to know?

I will attempt to answer what best I can assume you are asking.

I own a machine gun. Machine guns are legal if you just through all the hoops with creating an entity to name your NFA weapon as well as a series of hoops you must just through for the BATFE. I also own a suppressor which requires the same setup and hoops. The biggest pain is that form 4's are taking 10-12 months to clear currently. That's a long wait in my opinion. But it's worth it. Machine guns have a depreciating number because of the national firearms act and are a commodity and an investment. I would venture to say that my m11 will gain 10-15% value every year. It's a sure-thing because normal citizens can't buy new ones. Only old ones.

I might step up to an m16 next year. As an example. The m16 went from a 13k gun to a 27k gun in 5 years. That seems like a sound investment.

ah, sorry, my apologies for the confusion, I hadn't had coffee yet. I was enquiring if it was a registered FA or an semi-auto SBR, and I've not seen a M11 configured with a front end like that. You have a very purdy set of weapons and the photography is beautiful.

except for that taurus 1911... too. much. bling.

The front end is from a company called Lage Mfg. They have done a lot in the way of "outfitting" MAC weapons. They have been a game changer.

Thanks for the kind words. And yes, the Taurus was an impulse buy. I wanted a bling gun until I had the yearning to trade it for this HK P7.

Nice! I was always curious how much pressure it takes to actuate that front grip safety, what is your experience with it? have you gotten to shoot it yet?

Is that a Lage upper on your M11? I've been mulling about jumping into the FA world (though I may just get a few more cans first).
