Arrow ICS L86 issues

Recently I have had some major issues with my new, non-fielded, ICS L86.

Here's the problem:
I go to pull the trigger on fully automatic but it shoots fine. But when I switch over to semi-automatic, it shoots one BB and then it's done. I don't even hear sounds coming from the gears or anything.

Evike's technician says:
"Dear Customer,

Did you just get this from us? You may have a selector plate issue.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.

Thank you,"

My thoughts:
When I originally took it apart to find the problems, Shade_Angel told me to look for any cut wires that were shorting. So I ran through and checked but no cut wires.

Troubleshoot:
Possible Problem 1: Cut and/or faulty wiring harness.
Possible Problem 2: faulty gearbox.
Possible Problem 3: I'm an idiot.
Possible Problem 4: Some type of jam in the trigger assembly.
Possible Problem 5: Faulty selector plate.

If anyone here has any information for me or has had the same problems, let me know. I would love to get this fixed before Blind Fury. Thanks guys.

Im not a tech or anything but i'll try. It cant be possible problem 1 or 3. It can't be the wiring because automatic works, and no ones an idiot. Now it could be a faulty gearbox. Now #4 and 5 is probably the top 2 culprits in this situation. Sorry if all of this is incorrect, but like i said i tried. Hope this helps.

I think it is the Selector plate. But I might be wrong.

This issue has absolutely nothing to do with shimming, angle of engagement or motor height.

If the gun is shooting fine in full-auto but not in semi and the gun is completely stock, then its either an issue with the selector, selector plate, cut-off lever, sector gear or the trigger switch itself, or a combination of issues with any of those parts. It sounds most likely to me that there might be some burs of plastic on the trigger switch that is keeping the trigger sled from falling to the starting position. I see it happen ever so often.

Just to be safe, read through the instruction manual several times to familiarize yourself with the operation of the gun just to rule out Problem #3.

Is there a warranty card in the box? If so, who covers the warranty for the gun? It will probably be best to work with them directly as Evike is probably going to be completely worthless in helping fix the issue via e-mail.

I'd say faulty gearbox or selecter plate. If you did just get this from Evike, I'd check the return policy and your warranty. It may have been faulty manufacturing or may have been damaged during shipping. I would send it back and have them send you a knew one if you can't find the problem.

I'm short of the warranty by four days sadly. The gun has separate wiring for auto and semi. I don't think anything is wrong with the gearbox because I took it apart and checked but then again, it's still a new gearbox to me. If it's the trigger thing you speak of, how would I go about fixing it?
