Holy ****! $350? Might as well just buy an Eagle SPC for the much dough. I sure as hell hope Pantac's "venturing further into the RS scene" doesn't include raising prices to the RS scene...

They're so much material in that vest it's not cheap to make. You can get a large SPC for $250 new. I must note that the SPC does come with IIIA so you're adding roughly 12lbs of extra weight.

I'd suggest looking on airsoftsmith.com, they have a large amount of pantac gear, more than evike and airsoftgi carry at least. Also I don't believe an interceptor is worn by any branch of the marines although I could be mistaken. (never seen a pic or heard it mentioned)

Something like these in khaki would work well and be very good quality.

Or these in CB:

although they are m4 pouches :/

Evike and Gi carry "USMC" stuff that isn't really what marines use sometimes. I'd get my gear from a more gear based company like one of the sites I linked you to. Also you can find more flyye gear on ehobbyasia. Also I've never heard of "Jag" gear so I don't know if that would have a great build quality.

Okay then, I have no personal experience with m14's so sorry for my ignorance on that part. What all do you plan on carrying? Because that is really what you should factor in to decide on what you get, that as well as personal preference.

For example I like a less bulky vest that carries a good amount of stuff, so I would get an RRV.

But For you it is dependent on what you like. The Molle real estate available on each vest from low to high is MBSS, RRV, to Maritime/Land Ciras. The weight and bulk follows that same order.

Why buy a pouch designed for 2 5.56 mags, which will nearly always only carry 1 7.62 mag, when for the same price you could buy a proper 7.62 pouch and carry 2 mags?

I am legitimately failing to see the logic.
