Lightbulb Polar Star Masada

Today, my friend (Spanky) and I were reading up on the Polar Star system based on recent posts and I stumbled across the drop in system by Polar Star. I personally have a Magpul Masada, which in my opinion has a terrible combination of awesome, ergonomic Magpul externals and unfortunately weak internals.

I became really excited with the idea of a Polar Star Masada, but the unit for the drop in is $450, i.e. WAAAAY over my budget for airsoft.

So I guess my question for discussion is: Have you ever seen something like this, and would you be willing to pay that amount of money for this?

I mean I'm in the prossess of buying a drop in kit for my KWA sr12 unit. The gun itself was also 400 dollars even though I have far more into it, I still think The P* is worth the money. I can live with the cord. Ive done both gbbr and AEG. I get the EPAR is the last thing to try out.

If you want to talk to someone who had his masada custom fitted with a P* (at the time he had his done no one else had one) then talk to protectionperfection on airsoftsociety.com.

Don't forget to add in the cost of your air rig and tanks when looking at the numbers. It will be much more than $450.

E/ forgot to mention that bingo did the job for him...

If you're handy with a lathe and various other machine tools or know someone who is this is an option.

I also have a Masada an was just thinking about if a P* would fit. The air nozzle on the Masada is about twice as long as the one on an m4, so that's the problem I'm seeing with putting a P* in, maybe the stock Masada air nozzle would fit, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't.

If you followed the link to bingoAirsoftworks you would have seen all the stuff that had to be done to custom fit a P* into a Masada. Some masadas need a more custom job than others...
