Sorry, cooljdl or whatever your name is. This is a commnity for "SERIOUS" airsofters in much the same way RC enthusiasts look down on people who buy Tyco RC, you will get much the same response here.

Unless you have about $200, don't expect to find any AEGs worth your time or effort. Those that can be found for less than that are little more than novelty toys to be thrown away and certainly not capable of standing up to even mild skirmish use.

I know what *you* think "inexpensive AEG" means, sonny. To me it's just a made up word. A n00b's word, so young fellas like yourself can wear ACU and a helmet too big for your head, and play Call of Duty in your back yard. What do you really want to know? Am I sorry for telling you the truth?

There's not a day goes by I don't feel regret. Not because I'm in here, or because you think I should. I look back on the way I was at your age: a young, stupid kid who committed his hard-earned money on cheap garbage. I want to talk to him. I want to try and talk some sense to him, tell him the way things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone and this old man is all that's left. I got to live with that. Inexpensive AEG? It's just a bullsh*t word. So you go on and use the search engine, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I don't give a sh*t.

What Texx said is absolutely true. This weekend, I just spent over $400 on getting new gas pistols and magazines, which are secondaries for all true mil-sim events, and can only be used as primaries in very, very select situations. If you can't put a minimum of $200 into an AEG, just save the money and wait till you can. You are honestly wasting your time and money if you don't, because it will not last long, and will lack any capability to compare to the minimal standards of "serious" airsofters.

On a side note, it would be greatly appreciated if you would improve your grammar/punctuation in future posts and, your question is dangerously close to a "Is this gun good?" thread, which is not allowed on this forum. If I were you, I would first find a way to obtain more money for airsoft. You could ask for money for your birthday, or get a job around the neighborhood to make money. Then, I would google airsoft AEGs online, and see what type of rifle interests you. If there is a quality airsoft retailer near you, such as Airsoft Arms or AirsoftSmith, I would spend some time in store looking at the different rifles available, and asking questions about products based on the information you have found through google and youtube reviews. Finally, I would decide what rifle best suits your quality and price needs, and make sure you will be happy with it after you buy it. This is exactly what I did when I bought my first AEG over seven years ago. It cost about $350 for everything I needed, but my parents paid half the price, and it still performs well to this day. I was 14 at the time, so if I could do it, I am sure you can too. Trust me, you will be much happier with a nicer AEG! Happy hunting.

P.S. The Morgan Freeman speech made me laugh. Well done good sir.

Dude, I had to pause my music because I was reading the Morgan Freeman speech in his voice and was LMAFO. Texx, you are a BAWSS.

But I couldn't agree more. You hear more and more of people who either say:

- Damn, I just spent all my money on this...
or
- I got out of airsoft because you couldn't get anything decent for less than $200.

Don't regret wasting $100 on something you could've spent on something else.

I'll leave it there because I'm drunk and the rest will be rambling.

Let me just say that we have a thread on my other forums called "Bump This Every Time You Spend More Than $100"

It's been going on for less than 2 months, and it's on page 4...
