Team Stormblade is happy to announce our new MOUT style airsoft field!

The Roseville Prison was a minimum security satellite prison of the Ohio State Penitentiary that was closed nearly 40 years ago. The site consists of 4 buildings within an enclosed prison wall featuring a guard tower, many disabled vehicles, and approximately 150 acres of varying terrain outside the prison walls.

This event is to introduce this new field to Airsoft Ohio members. As this is a MILSIM style event, you are expected to show up on time and ready to play, in appropriate BDUs and low/standard/midcap magazines. We will be running a 3 hour morning scenario and a 3 hour afternoon scenario. Bring water and lots of ammo!

Because we are allowing roof access to the 4-story building, and because of some potentiality hazardous terrain, we are limiting this facility to those who are 16 and older.

A map will be available prior to the event.

Lunch will be available from the grill at reasonable prices.

Had a chance to try out this field this weekend. We had eight S.P.E.A.R. members attend and we all felt the challenge of the urban terrain. The buildings only have a few ways in and pose a real challenge for those attacking. The next you'll find hills that put Springfield to shame. Between the stairs and the mountains you bettter get in shape before you play here. Have fun and we get back there sometime soon.

Oh yeh i can go back in and ill be legal to be in this time lol. I used to live right down the road and went in there and the Roseville cops(what you call cops lol) ran us out when i was a kid. I have been in there and it would be a really intense place to play and i am looking forward to comming out and slinging some plastic. See you all on the field.

It never fails i look and look for something and i'lll find it after i ask. If i can get a baby sitter for the morning i'll be there. Even if i can't i'll most likely come over for the second game.

Another great place to play set up by Locutus, however you do have a thing for prisons don't you Loc. We will be there in the future that is for sure.

Second on what EH said... those hills make Springfield look like a good day hike! And the thorns out there... I have lots of healing cuts on my neck where I took a thorn tree. But it is a most impressive facility, and hella fun. I'm looking forward on the schedule to see if we can maximize the number of Devils there. It'll be interesting to see how much harder it gets with more people there.

I live in Zanesville and this is the first field within 30 minutes of me let alone an hour or two. This is awesome, me and my team should be coming alot if this becomes a regular field
