WE m1911 trouble

Anyone had the problem with a bad blowback system in their 1911? When I fire mine, sometimes the slide will get stuck back as if the slide catch has engaged, however, this isn't the problem. What happens is the gas/feeding nozzle stays forward while the slide moves backward, thus not chambering another bb and locking the gun up. I have dissassembled and cleaned and re lubricated everything with silicon oil. Any suggestions other than buying the 20 dollar replacement blowback?

if this is the standard 1911, make sure the screw at the back of the slide is tight. If its a MEU or hicapa make sure the screw that holds the sight in place is also tightened. Also check the feed lips of the magazine for burrs in the plastic. Also check the nozzle for the same. Remove with a very light file. Or you could buy yourself a 10-pack of emery boards for about $1.

Your piston head's oring could have blown out.
I see it happen all the time with general use and the comical "kill shot"
The oring morphs out and stops the nozzle short, catching it on that charged action.

If it's your piston head oring, either make sure the piston head base is secured tight and stable to the BBU foundation
or
Upgrade to a PDI/ect piston head
