Airsoft Injury Thread

First of all I am super surprised that there has not been one of these yet. If there already has the search button lied!
What has been your worst airsoft injury?
How did you acquire your injury that has turned into a manly battle scar?
What did you do to fix this injury?
I will start out with mine that happened today. So I was attempting to flank an enemy position on the right side beside a creek bed. I was walking and then I stepped on something and it gave way. I fell about 7 feet down into the creek bed and smacked my head on a rock. The rock tore my ear through and through the Dr. said. As soon as I fell I was like crap. I proceeded to bleed all through the the woods and up into my friends house. I then bled all over the car and the waiting room and the doctors office and the surgery room. Lets just say I did not know that I could loose that much blood and live. I had to have who knows how many stitches to fix my ear. So now I have a halo of gauze around my head.

I fell down a hill into the creek at Springfield during a firefight and had my M249 land on top of me, it was...pleasant.

Dove on a thunderbee (not my smartest choice) even through my PC and sappi plate still left a nice bruise.

Fell on broken glass and stabbed me in the leg/thigh area pretty bad.

I got a ripped BDU and everything.

A $60 expense and the pain of pulling glass out, and disinfectant was terrible.

Had an issues with my goggles, the part that goes on the bridge of my nose the rubber seal was bent up farther than normal for some reason and after being shot pretty close range, two bb's hit the goggles. The third bb made its way through the gap in the seal hitting me in the lower eye lid. Luckily the first two bb's that hit made me react and close my eyes for a second, if not I'm sure I would have had a bb in my eye. Anyways I had an instant black eye from it, but fixes the gap....lesson learned, Check your gear!!!

I had a tooth shot out. This was at BF9 on a Saturday, midday. I had to wait for over 36 hours with the tooth's root exposed before I could see my dentist on Monday morning. One root canal later ($400 after insurance), I am now a proud member of the Airsoft Tooth Decay Support Group.

My right ankle is pretty much boned because of Springfield.

My liver, which has earned several medals of honor while in service to the 08th, is a tired old warhorse.

One day, it will be buried separately with Honors on Fox's property for services rendered.

My right foot hurts pretty bad from Springfield because I was jumping from a side of a hill to the ground, which I thought was only leaves, and it landed on two big rocks, hurting pretty bad. I also slipped on a hill, banging my left knee into a rock and falling onto my gun.

I think the worst injury I've suffered is mild confusion from listening to Franc attempting to explain the rules in his accent.

Hey. I'll add to the Springfield injury list.

I decided to charge across an area of slick mud to only fall on my back and knock the breath out of me.

Despite being hurt and gasping for air I kept shooting. It did not help that my buddy thought this was funny that despite taking such a spill I was still in the game and then, hence, I too thought it was funny and kept laughing.

Good times.

I remember that. Scary stuff.

There are periodically a few rattlesnake bites out here. They can get pretty serious. Sounds like an excuse to pick up some OR gaiters.

Some guy with a hot shooting gun decided to light me up, in the face, from like 7 feet away. I had a BB imbedded in my forehead and many bloody marks and some dents in my goggles. Also during a game i was shot in the ear and somehow the bb ended up lodged in my ear...not fun, took a lot of time and some deft work with tweezers to remove it.

About 6 months ago I was using a gas sniper rifle, it was an oddly cold day so the gas was goofing up often. Freshly refilled, I charged back into the fight and took one shot: which exploded the gas bolt and it seared all over my hand and froze it to the rifle. Hand was numb and skin peeled off for days. My face when it happened must have been priceless.
