I think its referring to the 1911 that have cutouts in the magwell to fit the CO2 mag.

With the KJW, CO2 functionality was an afterthought - or, at the very least, not very well thought out. If your gun originally shipped with a green gas mag, you should stick with that.

The green gas mag well on the 1911 should be 1/2" wide and about 2" long.

Ebay has spare mags for about $30 shipped.

I used Co2 in mine for a while and found that it did create some good range/power but it had some drawbacks such as locking the slide back after firing (with bb's still in mag), it was as if it had to much power on occasion... Always happened at bad times too. Have like 3 guys with their backs to me at 20 yards and bang... Slide sticks, I get shot. = ) Keep in mind, I had 2 KJW Hi CAPA's and both did the same thing. So I don't think it was just my KJW.

I recently purchased an extended 1911 green gas mag (WE Tech makes a 52rd clip for about $40) and I think now after seeing that it still has similar performance but without the slide lock issue that happened so many times. I would recommend green gas mags like Texx said.
