m140 spring in m249?

hey, i live in an area where support weapons are allowed to have up to 450 fps and i want that range and power in my gun, can a stock motor and gear set from an A&K m249 take that kind of power? here is a list of upgrades i have put into it so far and i am reluctant to drop more money on this thing

ICS polycarb full steel tooth piston
Bravo double seal one piece metal cylinder head
modify air seal nozzle
bravo bearing piston head with #14 o ring
prometheus 509mm 6.03 tightbore
jbu m130 spring
modified hop up that actually works

i shot a few thousand rounds to let the spring settle and now i am pushing 410-15 fps with .2 and i know i have near perfect compression after replacing all the stock garbage that was in it previously, that seems low though for an m130 and i want to give it a bit more kick, could i just swap to an m140 and be safe with my stock gear set and motor? and is there a reason why my m16, with nearly identical set up is cranking 430-40 fps with an m130 when my m249 is only pushing 410? any advise and especially experience with a similar situation would help, and if i do need to upgrade gears and motor what should i get? i want to shoot with a 9.6 v NiMH, i personally don't want a huge rof in this one,

thank you

The gearbox of the M249 is longer than a traditional V2 gearbox, so you don't use the full power of the spring. To counter this you can move up to a higher FPS spring. FPS also varies between brands. A Systema M140 should put a V2 gearbox in the 425-450 range.

ok so i my stock gears and motor should be able to handle it? i believe they are xyt brand and i read they can pull up to an m150, that seems hard to believe though, and also, how big of a drop in rof would i get from switching my m130 to an m140?

If it can already pull a M130 you shouldn't notice much with a M140. The M249 with a M140 would = M130 in a V2 stress wise (setups and results vary). Going up to a M150 would be pushing it with a stock setup.
