echo 1 m16 help

i bought an echo 1 m16 about 6 months ago and had no problems until recently. now it will only fire the first shot in the magazine, and not the rest. i have tried it with 5 different magazines and the outcome is the same. Does anyone know what is wrong with it?

A little more information would help... What do you mean that it only fires the first few shots... Does the weapon stop functioning ? Does it shoot but nothing comes out ??

What other brands of magazines have you tried.. Your nozzle may be off or wrong . China brand guns sometimes will have that problem.

Well you have got me stumped.... there is no logic behind that problem...

Let me ask you this only because I am curious and stumped.... when inserting your mag... do you fire it semi ? or auto ?

Try pushing up on the magazine while firing.

Ask M&N. He just bought one of these and he might be able to help you.

The bottom of the hopup chamber may be worn and not depressing the detent on top of the magazine. When my TM did that I jus put a drop of epoxy on the hopup chamber where it engages the detent on the magazine. It adds just enough material to push it back far enough to allow it to feed.

Ok 2 questions, 1. Did you keep BB's in the mag after play for a long time? 2. On the BB feed neck (don't know what to call it exactly) is the plastic round or oval shaped? I bought a M4 magwell conversion for my G36, and the feed neck got bent in and it was oval shaped and would only feed about 10 shots, just something for you to think about.
