Since when do you have to shoot full auto at people's face to have fun or have balls?

p.s. Yes, I am trying to get a point across....

If conquest opens up again i'll definatley be up there (depending on my football schedule though) The biggest problem however with building the bunkers and things of nature up again as some have suggested would be the vandals that are up there as lone panther mentioned. They knock over sandbags kick-in sides of the wood buildings, ect... Myself, saquatch, pudd, ranger, and who ever else was with us that sunday remembers the kids on bikes that we caught riding around near the wood pallets correct? those are the people that I am talking about and I think that would be one of the biggest hurdles to overcome if and when conquest does re open. And the fact that if it is going to be re opened to have open plays on a regular basis that it may have to be multi theatered (piantball and airsoft) to keep it open may be a possiblility that we have to accpet.(although I dont see it being too much of a problem) There are some roadblocks to get through but overall I'm just happy for the fact that another great airsoft field may be re opened. Just letting everyone know what we are in for if and when conquest does re open.

If conquest needs any banners made, feel free to PM me. I believe we can get something made for a very small cost.

Also I agree as reguards to the place being open to both groups, ofcorse have paintball one weekend, airsoft the next.

Also attacking/defending the factory would go over quite well...make a larger playing field. Also holding large scale events would be pretty boss to.

put up a fence/net like they do at speedball courses /golfcourses around the cars with a small web size... all it would take is some PVC poles and the netting if it was to be done the cheap way but a designated parking area would have to be reserved... idk if there is already a parking lot since i have not played there but it sounds like it would be a great place to play if it is reopened and a thing like parking should not be what holds a good scenario friom being played..

anyways id for sure be there to help and play if it does re open because a close field is a good field!

Uh, in case nobody noticed, there is a parking lot directly adjacent to the facility. This parking lot is in fact owned by the same person who owns the property conquest sits on.

Further more, this may work out better, because I know they had problems with people sneaking on to the field without paying or having waivers from time to time, and if they were to utilize this parking lot, they could use the gated fence seperating the two to collect money and waivers as people stepped onto the field, and easily be able to turn away those who didn't have either of the above.

Conquest is in fact a great facility it isn't necesarily the best field, due to some ownership problems. If they could sort out their staff (don't want point fingers) to be a little more focused on the business than their own playing, then they might have a bit more success next time around. All in all, I would be happy to see conquest reopen, as long as it started on the right foot this time around, and if, Widowmaker, you choose to read this, shoot me a PM and I'd be glad to talk all my assessments over with you.

Although, conquest had a lot of problems past vadalism and parking, take, for example, their complete ignoring of the milsim community. How many events were hosted there...3? Shadowsword, thanks to Loki, is the only milsim game there that comes to mind. Outbreak and one other were also there neither of which were really milsim. Although, Outbreak was fun as hell, it didn't have a very big pull. If they could get someone who would host one big event there every month or every other month, i'd bet thay'd see their numbers come a few shades closer to black.

Ah, I did not know that was owned by the field owner. That changes things.

Lots of great ideas here . To bad most wont work .
If i reopen ill only be open maybe twice a month .
Landlord doesnt want me to use the parking behind his house .
No paintball still .
Im not spending any more money out of my pocket for the place . The netting you guys are talking about . Last time i priced it the cheapest i found it was 2 grand a roll .
I will not have anyone working for me out there . Two reasons . The guy i had last time is a buddie and he didnt do what he was paid to do . Plus so many rules were broke the landlord will not let the place open without me there .
I will hold one event per month that will be milsim . I might not lay it out to where everyone knows everything thats going to happen that day . But they will be milsim . Ill still have a open play once a month also .

Widowmaker, pre-pay events might be your best option. I know there are plenty of players saying that they are going to come and then not show. Require pre-pay with no refunds. If eveyone is serious, then they with poney up the money and show up. Otherwise too bad.
