Well, I love the Stalker series so this may be the first horror movie I have every cared about. Not likely but maybe.

Haha ya, the RADS there aren't as bad, a new Gas Mask and Russian Radiation suits as well as giger meters, we might survive...(sorry about the spelling)

Its not the radiation itself thats the problem, its the radioactive particles in the dust. Its settled in bodies of water and inside buildings where the elements cant get at it. The main problem is ingesting these particles, by breathing them in or other means. Its okay to walk around with nothing more than overboots in the open. However rolling and running around everywhere would stir up a lot of that contaminated material, especially inside structures. Like I said, the biggest problem would be avoiding breathing this crap in. Besides the health related problems theres the moral issues. This used to be a city where people lived. Peoples homes. A lot of people died there. Even more as a result of what happened there. It would be fun.... But so would storming the beaches at normandy with an airsoft rifle. Doesn't mean I'm about to do it, for obvious reasons.

However I do like the idea of stalker based game.... Now you people done got my creative juices a flowin'. If You guys dont do it, Ima doin it.

Don't take offense or find this as an insult, but everywhere is someone's home, pal. For all we know, Springfield could have been a Native American's home or burial ground........

All in good fun, the tricky things of Stalker based event would be anomalies, mutant wildlife and the blowouts.

But the most dangerous part of Chernobyl is the Decepticons hiding there trying to find their time/space/michael bay teleporter. They would be pretty hard to play airsoft around.

On a more serious note, this actually does seem like a pretty fun idea. Obviously we wouldn't play at real Chernobyl, but a mock one with a game designed around it would be interesting.

I might actually go see this horror movie (unlikely, the wallet seems to empty itself rather quickly these days..) But I spent many hours hunting down artifacts and slaughtering bandits, So I may make an exception for this horror movie.

Hey all we need for a game would be a lot of left over concret, large steel cambers and some steel rods filled with green pellets that are just tossed around. Then we need some grey/black bust or sand to spread every where. Hey Springfields big enough for this with a good sized town

Well what if roseville prison was re painted with some Russian characters and had a bunch of hammers and sickles everywhere. All we would need after that is some Russian gear. Now I think that could be a mock Chernobyl.

I feel like this movie could have potential, but lately I feel like Hollywood has become desperate. I don't know, could go either way. The last movie I saw and actually really enjoyed was Act of Valor.
