what is the diameter of the bottom of a grenade that would be used in a standard m203 airsoft grenade launcher?

Ahh the BODY is 40mm, but I believe the OP is looking for the diameter of the base which has a slight rim. I'm guessing somebody is looking to build a launcher.

Without having a caliper to measure I can not be 100%sure, but I dont believe that airsoft grenades are exactly 40mm. I mean I have rocked at GL for a long time, but I dont think I have ever measure the things.

Look if you are wanting a grenade launcher for looks, they my single shot (shot guns) for like 30 bucks. The DBoys ones are like 60-75 on ebay. If you want to have the grenades, just buy them. You dont need a launcher to fire them.
