Echo 1 / A&K M249 SAW BoxMag Battery Mod Guide
I recently created a site for the Echo 1 and A&K M249 SAW Para, showing step by step photos with text on how to relocate your battery to the BoxMag so that you can use a larger battery. I did not see any detailed guides on the web to help those in need, so I decided to write one myself, which includes the modifications required, along with dimensions for constructing the new battery tray. The link is shown below and it should be a good guide for beginners and veterans alike and I am posting it here for the benefit of our membership. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

You can use any connectors you want. I used Deans because of the low profile at the magwell side. You could use Deans to connect the Boxmag battery leads to the gun and use Tamiya inside the Boxmag if using a standard battery.
