This, and many other problems can be solved by reading the player packet for the event, or if the event doesnt have one, listening to the briefing before game start.
(PS - Strikers use radio coms at every event we go to)

Ok, I kinda figured that the head people of a game would clear this up. No one likes friendly fire! But another thing is what about those weird camos that are like yellow or orange?

It's called stinger Camo. I'm not sure if it has a reall application or not. And the other is Savage Orange Camo.

I'm pretty sure the real application for that is to wear it down around your knees with your underwear showing.

No, it was designed to be used when your enemies are using LSD, it works great then.
It was created toward the end of the cold war when the soviets where experimenting with psychedelic compounds to heighten their soldier's abilities.

I've found multicam to be so damn hard to figure out it's crazy. While I think it's sickeningly effective (for the most part, at least in OH), I doubt I'll ever own it. The chances of being friendly fired are pretty high, unless everyone is using radio ops, central command is very well organized, and the people shooting you can do a very good job of differentiating the pattern.
To me, at most engagement ranges, it looks green, but it oftentimes goes to the tan side (in my limited experience). I know I've personally friendly fired someone in multicam (in my defense they had *just* occupied an area where enemies were). Of course, all this is anecdotal evidence. Maybe it's just me. More to the point, and back to the OP's question, I think "oddball" uniforms probably for the most part don't have a place in normal play. On a sidenote: I wonder if any orange cammo patterns, that have practical uses, do exist?

While I haven't seen camoflage with orange being used I have seen blue. When I was on a MEU float we hit Djibouti and Kenya and the Kenyan soldiers had what was a regular woodland pattern with the addition of blue (think a deep "aqua" shade). Was told it works well in dense jungle. Also believe the Congolese utilize a similar pattern.

I have a seat of AUSCAM (Austrian, not Australian, thought hey are remarkably similar) that everyone tells me is pink in the light but in shady woods it looks tan with green and brown patches. So far all organizers that have judged it have decided it was Tan.
On a seperate note, just like in the real world, Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance, or in this case, friendly fire. At the C3 scenarios the rule always was if they look like they might be enemies, shoot them. If they're friendly and not where they are supposed to be, then they can respawn later in the right place. The again our team was Soviet Russians/Socialist Bloc irregulars (my squad was Spetsnaz) so a little friendly fire was nothing to get bent out of shape over.
