Type of Hop Up Bucking
I plan on ordering a PDI Hop-Up for my MK96 in the next few weeks, but the question occurs of what type of bucking to buy. I have heard that the hard bucking should be used for high (450+) fps, but on the other hand I have also heard that the PDI Hop-Up works best with a soft bucking. Your thoughts?

Most people say that 400+ guns should use hard buckings, but ive never seen a difference in performance in my KWA (~400 fps) when I use different buckings. Either way, whatever gun you have, get a firefly bucking.

Soft buckings = more grip, more wear due to BB friction.
Hard buckings = less grip, but more durability from friction. Hard buckings are also less effective during cold weather, especially on AEG's. Soft buckings are generally good year round. I personally prefer the Systema bucking, as it's always been the most consistent. Darkstar out. |
