Not a problem man. In most cases this is your color comparison:

OLIVE DRAB:

RANGER GREEN:
http://tacticaltailor.com/images/swa..._swatch_lg.jpg

now i say MOST cases because some websites consider ranger green the SAME as OD, but technically thats the difference between the two. But as you can see ranger green is a sort of darker version of OD. hope this helped you out man

Good comparison. OD Green is more of a base green, whereas Ranger Green has more of a smoke green color, borderline with foliage ACU Green.

Not exactly following what you're asking, but I think you're asking for a better description of Ranger Green, right?

Okay, so for starters, I've had a Tactical Assault Gear (TAG) Modular Plate Carrier (MPC) in Ranger Green for about 2 years now. Since that time, I've had OD pouches on it, kind of matched, but not really. Well after Xmas 2007, I decided to switch over to all Ranger Green on my TAG MPC. There weren't a whole lot of choices, but the following all make a Ranger Green or similar color: Tactical Assault Gear - Ranger Green, Paraclete - Smoke Green, EMDOM - Sewer Green, Diamondback Tactical / BattleLab - Ranger Green, Tactical Tailor - Ranger Green, Eagle - Ranger Green. I ended up getting pouches and gear from all of those, but Eagle.

In general, Ranger Green is a very dark grey / green, but in actuality the color is all over the board from dark grey to a slightly more grey version of OD. I've also found that most of the Ranger Green gear that I have changes color on different types of light. Sometimes everything matches and then other times it all blends together, but are obviously different colors. Here are some brief comments on the Ranger Green stuff that I got. In general I'd really suggest trying to see this stuff in person before buying any of it, but I know that's hard if not impossible for most people. Due to the differences in how different digital cameras and monitors represent colors it's hard to get the real idea on Ranger Green from a picture

Tactical Assault Gear (TAG) Ranger Green: TAG apparently has 2 different shades of Ranger Green or they changed their Ranger Green late last year. I originally got TAG Ranger Green stuff about 2 years ago. At that time, it was close to OD but had more grey in it. It was significantly different that the original TAG OD. They this year, I picked up one of their MOLLE butt packs. This color is very odd. It doesn't match my older TAG stuff or anything that I've gotten since. It's a very difficult color to explain, but I'd say it's grey with some green and pink in it.

Diamondback Tactical / BattleLab Ranger Green: The DBT Ranger Green is my least favorite. It is just dark grey, very little green in it at all.

Paraclete Smoke Green: This is just a little more grey than that TAG Ranger Green. It's hardly noticable at all.

EMDOM Sewer Green: This is the greenest pouch that I got, but it still works with Ranger Green. The nylon that makes up the main body of the pouch is just a touch too green (still nowhere near OD), but the webbing parts of the pouches are just about right.

Tactical Tailor Ranger Green: I'd say this color is somewhere between the Paraclete Smoke Green and the DBT Ranger Green. Meaning it's not as grey as the DBT stuff, but not quite as grey / green as the Paraclete stuff. This is probably the most consistant and useful color that I got.

From what I've seen most of the companies I dealt with offered OD and Ranger Green. A few of them just offered Ranger Green, but even then, it was quite a bit different from OD>

FYI, I was forced to get my radio pouch in foliage and it is nowhere even close to ranger green. Yes they are both grey but the foliage green is very light grey. IMO, the foliage stuff on my ranger greenbrig looks horrible.

I'll try to get a picture up today, but that might not happen, and remeber about the problems I mentioned about digitally recording this color. It really depends on the lighting source.

Sorry for the big pictures, but the coloring seemed better in the full size photo.

Here's the front of my TAG Ranger Green MPC:

Pouches from top left to right: EMDOM SAF Admin Pannel Sewer Green, EMDOM 6o4 Pistol Mag Pouch Sewer Green

Pouches from bottom left to right: DBT GP Pouch Small Ranger Green, TT 3 Mag 5.56 Pouch Ranger Green, EMDOM Small Utili-Shingle Sewer Green, TT Radio Pouch Small Foliage Green

Here's the back of my TAG MPC in Ranger Green:

Pouches from the left: Paraclete Small Universal Radio Pouch Smoke Green, TAG Hydration Carrier Ranger Green, TAG MOLLE Butt Pack Ranger Green, Paraclete Single Flash Bang Pouch Smoke Green.

As you can see the Ranger Green color is all over the place and the lighting really changes its shade. Let me know if you've got any questions.

Eagle Ranger Green is Ranger green. No color is really on par with Eagle RG, it is a very hard to replicate color.

OD and Ranger Green are not even close to being the same color, RG has more of a twinge of gray, wereas OD is more of a true green.

For comparison to NM's, here is my Eagle Plate Carrier in OD. Vest, Admin, and mag pouches are Eagle. Utility pouches are TT.
