“In world news, the Globex corporation again denied allegations of assisting international weapons traffickers in supplying arms and munitions into the nation of Malgovia. When asked, Globex CEO Hank Scorpio issued this statement. ‘We at the Globex family have been a global leader in enacting fair pay and safe work environments in nations where such work habits are unheard of. The average worker, even in nations such as Malgovia make on average 500% of the wages and benefits of other corporate counterparts and I am saddened at these false allegations fed to a complicit media to damage our sterling reputation.’ US department of Justice Officials would not comment on this story. Next up, Planetary Initiatives is sponsoring the fourth annual global conference on natural and theoretical sciences got underway today in New York with some of the world’s greatest minds in attendance. For more we go to Crystal Matthews in New York.”

After securing and escaping Malgovia with the Globex Doomsday device, Jonah Scorpio has gone underground and is presumed to be plotting an attack in the United States. The NSA and CIA have been monitoring movements and intelligence suggests that experimental weapons are his target. DELTA force operators are on a 24 hour readiness alert.

- January 31st, 2013 CIA assets in Pakistan report that a sample of an experimental viral weapon, Pandora three has been stolen from a secure research facility in the remote mountains of Pakistan.
- February 2nd, 2013 Five Scientists go missing from the Planetary Iniatives conference. Their respective disciplines are molecular genetics, nuclear physics, climatology, oceanography and organic chemistry. No trace of a struggle is found in the hotel and neither patrons nor security saw anyone enter or exit the premises.
- February 19th, 2013 CIA operatives intercept and secure a member of the Purple Cobra terrorist cell in an attempt to cross the Malgovian border with plans for something code named Operation Blackgate. The detainee is transferred to Guantanamo Bay Cuba for interrogation.
- March 11th, 2013 CIA interrogators are able to ascertain that Operation Blackgate is a planned attack on US soil, somewhere in the Eastern United States and involves the missing scientists. DELTA counterterrorism teams are assembled and placed on a 24 hour state of readiness. Counterterrorism agents in the DHS go on high alert.
- April 20th, 2013 NSA agents in coordination with DHS and CIA assets locate Jonah Scorpio and Globex Security operatives at an abandoned prison in Connecticut. Intelligence confirms that the operatives have the five scientists as well as enough weaponized Pandora III to devastate the East Coast. DELTA units are dispatched to retrieve Scorpio and avert the cataclysm at hand.

Medic Rules
Players who are hit have a set bleed out time of 3 minutes at the end of which they become a casualty. Once players bleed out they must return to their respective staging area where they become a garrison unit and may not return to play until their squad returns to retrieve them. Garrison units are free to fight, and rearm normally in their respective areas but may not return until their specific squad returns to retrieve them.
First Aid – Certain roles have first aid bandages that will be issued by event staff. A player may apply this bandage to a wounded player and that player is considered stabilized. Stabilized players may not move, and may only use a sidearm to defend themselves. If a player is hit again when they are stabilized they are immediately rendered a casualty and must return their staging area.
Medic Revival – Advanced combat medicine allows for operators who have been wounded to get back into the fight as fast as possible. Medics are issued 10 special bandages which allow a player who is bleeding out or stabilized to be brought back into the fight. Once the Advanced Bandage is applied the wounded player may act normally. Once wounded a second time the wounded player must return to their staging area once they bleed out.

Grenade Rules:
In order to cause a casualty, grenades must project bbs to score a kill. Acceptable examples are Tornado’s, 40mm rifle launched grenades or bb filled Thunder B shells. Due to the nature of the play area, no solid core projectiles or foam rockets will be allowed.

Weapon Safety Restrictions:
No guns are allowed to shoot over 350fps with a .2g bb. Players will be subject to random chrono checks. No guns are allowed to use full-auto and must stick to semi-auto fire only. This will be strictly enforced throughout the day. There is no reason whatsoever for a player to use full-auto. If a player is caught using full-auto they will be removed from the field. 40mm grenade launchers will be allowed, but can only shoot a shower of BB’s. Nerf rockets, slugs, footballs, etc will not be allowed for player use.
  • No BB's heaver than .28 grams will be allowed at this event.

Goggles/Face Protection:
All persons are required to wear goggles or a paintball mask with a minimum rating of ANSI 87.1 2003. The mask/goggle must have a maximum gap less than 6mm between the frame and the skin. Full face protection is REQUIRED for everyone due to the nature of this CQB game. Full face protection consists in a HARD COVER over the mouth such as mesh lowers or a paintball mask. Cloth or neoprene covers will NOT be accepted as full face protection.

Blind Firing:
YOU ARE NOT allowed to fire at someone if you can't see him. That is what we call blind firing. If you do not have your aim on the opposite player(s), don't shoot.

Safety Kills:
The bang bang rule is when you are close enough to your adversary that shooting him would possibly cause injury. When closer than 10ft and in total control, it is common courtesy to offer a "bang bang" to the player in front of you. If the player ahead can shoot back at you, you are definitely not in full control and "bang bang" can't be used. To be able to offer a "bang bang", your gun must be functional and aimed at the player. A bang bang is mandatory BUT must be given under full and total control of the situation. You offer a bang bang to a player by courtesy instead of shooting from too close while the offered player would have 0.0% of returning fire. No need to say, you can't bang bang on your way into buildings. As stipulated, if you are not in full control and the player in front of you knows that you are coming or expect you to come, you are not in control and shall not bang bang the player.

Lights:
All players must bring a flashlight since the prison gets dark even during the day. In situations where it is too dark, all players must use a red glow stick (or some other red light) to signal their death instead of a dead rag.

Prison Safety:
Do not close the cell doors. There is a real risk that they may become stuck and will not be able to be opened again. Do not climb anything that does not have stairs. Do not shoot out of any windows. Do not fire into the staging area’s glass. Do not cause damage to anything that may be left inside the field of play. Respect this place.
