A Halloween Reminder (attempt #2)

Posted 10-27-2010 at 05:16 PM by Mandalorian94
First off I would just like to apologize for my previous post of this blog. Im new to this and wasn’t sure what I was doing, and it was posted before I was finished. Thank you for understanding.

As Halloween comes around the corner, many of us younger airsofters get excited to show off our loadouts as we go door to door. However, I cannot stress enough how important it is to leave your guns at home, even if you still have the blaze orange tip. It is common knowledge not to brandish your airsoft guns in public, but it is also against the law. If any mishap should take place, airsoft could get a very bad reputation very fast. The community here on AO has worked very hard to give our sport a good reputation here in Ohio, so lets keep it that way!

Have a fun and safe night.

No offense, but aren't you a bit to old to be tricker treating?

But you are right, if you must, don't take the guns with you.

While I agree that brandishing weapons in public is not a good idea, something does interest me.

To my knowledge, open carry of firearms, both handguns and long guns, is legal. I'm assuming this would also apply to airsoft guns. So while it is DEFINITELY not recomended, it is technically not illegal (to my knowledge.) If anyone knows otherwise, feel free to correct me.
