Follow the General Forum Rules (http://www.airsoftohio.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9622) as outlined by Loki. These include the rules outlined in "Since People In Here Can't Seem to Act Like Grown-Ups" in the Off-Topic Forum Stickies. (Read this as: NO POLITICS.)
Keep it OFF TOPIC. In other words, don't post about airsoft in here. That's what the rest of the forum is for.
I'm going to start deleting things over a month or so old, especially if it's fluff. If it's got a link in it to something, I'll probably keep it in case someone says, "Hey, what the hell was that link again?"
Other than that, keep the "WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?!?!" posts to a minimum. If that comes up while discussing something interesting, sure. But if you just want to know what kind of chips people like, it's not that we don't want to hang out with you, but that those kinds of opinion posts are just... dumb. So stop it.
Encouraged posts:
Mature discussion of ANYTHING (except airsoft and politics). If it's not mature, if it's not 'civilized,' if there are flame wars: not only will the thread be locked and deleted, but the flamers will be issued warnings and potentially banned. Actually, they'll probably go straight to banination.
So, if you want to talk about what kind of noodles make the best models of golgi aparatai in your seventh grade science project, if you want to talk about religion or whether basketball is more appropriate to teach to Japanese school girls, go right ahead. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. Immaturity will NOT be tolerated. It might touch on a nerve, but don't be a child and whine about it. Discuss it like proper men and women.
If you have questions about whether something is 'mature' or if you have any doubt at ALL whether the thread might bring up some tension or encourage a flame war, please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask myself, TheBanker, or another moderator. That's what we're here for.
