Has anyone had a problem with the 18c not fully cycling upon firing? Lately, it has failed to cycle and reset the trigger after 1 or 2 shots. I have ensured that there is enough gas, the weapon is lubricated with silicon lubricant and there is no FOD (foreign objects or debris) in there.
Everything appears to be in proper order, etc. Any ideas?

Do you have a metal slide, barrel or reinforced recoil spring? What kind of gas are you using, HFC134a or Green Gas?

I have the metal slide and barrel, using the green (Top) gas.

Is it just that the slide is not returning forward? On mine with the metal slide and barrel the slide would stop like a couple MMs away from battery, so it wouldnt reset the trigger. I just got an upgraded recoil spring and that did the trick, slammed the slide forward all the way. Try shooting it again, and when the hammer doesn't engage again try pushing the slide forward firmly and see if it will work then. If it does than you need an upgraded recoil spring.
Perhaps a thread (or a FAQ like Dumborat' newbie Faq (which i have just finished reading the latest version. very nice.. good read.. #1 bestseller!:D ) could be created for this particular one.
Detailing faults, fixes, brand variances, gas variances, tolerances, part swapping (g17/g18c etc), and so on
just my 20c.
If it does not return to firing position(the slide),then its probably the recoil spring..youll need a new one because the stock spring is not strong enough sometimes to return a slide that has alot of wieght.
Try shooting upwards too,if the slide does not return, its the recoil spring.
I would suggest you but a Hurricane or Guarder upgrade set for the KSC G18c.
This could probably solve your problems and maybe a later problem with KSC glocks, the hammer spring giving up.

The slide does return home. However, the trigger does not reset.
I have checked everything and have no clue. I can tell you damn near anything you want to know on various guns, EXCEPT how to fix 'em.
I'll probably take it to Airsoft Arms and have them fix it for me.
