i am debating a new green gas nbb, but also came across a couple co2 guns. and there is also a converter kit to make the gun co2. is co2 better? typically would you notice a difference in fps or perhaps shots fired comparing tanks to co2 cartridges? i know that gas can loose some umph in cold. does co2? would appreciate some feedback/personal experience kinda stuff.

CO2 would be more powerfull than green gas. Also, it is much easier to purchase at sporting goods stores. The downsides, however, is that you have to use either an external tank, or run a pistol with a specially designed magazine that holds a small CO2 canister in it, which due to their size, makes the mag oversized and sticks out of the grip.

Both CO2 and greengas would suffer from cold temps, but since CO2 is already higher in pressure, it would maintain that advantage at lower temps compared to green gas.

Look at KWC pistols, they offer many that can take either conventional green gas, or, simply by swapping the fill valve on the mag, you can connect an external rig to run those small CO2 canisters you speak of.
