so im sure many of you know about the full auto trigger bar mod right? well if you dont its a mod that requirs one to file off the hump on the trigger bar to cause full auto. well mine worked pretty good till something went wrong, well actually alot of things. my mag went fubar and just is crapping out, my trigger wont return to the forward position after firing anymore, and the plastic in the outter barrel got stripped off. well the gun refuses to work now no longer firing full auto but shooting once and the hammer stops halfway on the next shot, and i have no idea which of those three things is what really made it not work. also id like to try to find a replacement trigger to hammer rod for the kjw m9 cause full auto gets old real quick and i dont know where to find that. any help would be appreciated thanks.

I am not positive, but it seems to me that using a gun on full-auto that was only meant to be fired on semi will inevitably lead to problems...
On a side note, though, what is it exactly that you need to sand down?

Hmm...me, I wouldn't even try that mod unless I had another trigger bar handy, in case there were problems. Finding replacement KJW parts can be tough, but try DEN. Or you can try Combat Depot and maybe he can special order one for you.

hum, interesting. Now I'm wondering whether I should mod 1 of my 2 plastic KJWs, or both, or the full metal one. MUHAHAHAHA

Call me a n00b, or just plain stupid... I sanded that nub down all the way so that it is level with the slide rails... and now it is double action. Fun stuff, but Full Auto would be much more fun... did I do something wrong?

Now, it seems that the auto fire is just too fast for the slide to push back the hammer all the way consistently, the hammer is only striking the "firing pin" occassionally... hum. Time to look at how the internals all work!

If you are looking to replace that trigger bar, I found a replacement part. Whether it works, is questionable. It is the WA version of the M9 replacement trigger bar. I scrutinized it pretty closely, and it seems that it would fit without any problems. Otherwise, Dremel tools are really nice to have handy around the house. Good luck!

you know what? maybe the fact that you didnt sand it down enough made it not work. When i did mine i filed it down all the way to where it was level with the top of the grip and i think that it way still catch occasionally resulting in it not firing full auto. anyone else who has done this mod and had success PLEASE share.
