I know we have a classifieds zone and all, but how about a section dedicated soley for trades?

Not really.

The classifieds are more effective for the sale of airsoft. I would like to see a strichtly trade only area that would be right on the classifieds page.

I understand what you are trying to do, but I believe this would be akin to giving each and every individual question a separate forum. The Classified Section is simply to advertise a member's wares. The method of payment they want is left up to the seller.

For example, if the buyer has a Paypal Account, he can accept payment from Direct Transfers, Credit Cards, and eCheck. He may also choose to accept payment from Western Union, Money Orders, Cashiers' Check, Personal Check, or Cash.

Accepting items for trade would also constitute as a form of payment because both items are deemed of equal value.

There is already an existing format for trading items.
WTS/WTT - Want to Sell/Want to Trade
FS/FT - For Sale/For Trade

If the seller wishes to offer his items for trade, he can/should indicate as such. If the seller is willing to negotiate the terms of sale, he should also indicate as such.

I really think offering an additional forum for trading is an ineffective use of forum resources. We already have enough of a problem with members figuring out where things should be posted, despite several warnings and indicators posted around the site. More site features does not automatically make it a better site. That's just my opinion on the matter. You begin adding more forum sections and it becomes more of a hassle to administrate.
