I am currently trying to get a HUGE game set up for....well, the hell of it. I am currently in Talks with Badlands Paintball field (for those who don't know, its an old ARMY base.) in Valpo to see if we can rent the field, I am also working with the 75th from Ohio to see if their sponsor (10ringairsoft.com) can help by hosting the event, (we wanna try that to try and defray the costs of entry fees, ammo, food, stuff like that). The game would be a 48 Hour Game. Yes, 48 Hours......Starting on a Friday Night and Ending on Sunday Morning. We're still Ironing out the details and it may be a while before we get something set in stone. We're gonna try to shoot for late october, early november for the dates of the event, it will be a Mil-Sim, and any suggestions are welcome as far as the rules. We would just like to have EVERYTHING planned to the T about what will go down before we toss the idea to potential sponsors. We're also gonna try AirSplat.com and a few other companies to see if they would help host it.
Thanks,

From what it sounds like and the kind of interest your looking for, this October is WAY too soon. Now if you were talking about next year, then you have a very good chance at that. I have been planning our big game for over a year now and I havent even announced it yet or invited teams. One thing you should address is your level of milsim. Just from talking with people, most (please notice the most part) players want the action. Most people will not be interested in having a 24 hour game with no promise of shooting thier gun at someone. There are those that do like that though.
Another thing to consider is that most people cannot get the entire weekend off and play the whole game due to family obligations and such. So you would have to come up with a package deal or multiple day entry fees. In my opinoin its way too much for one person to handle within 2 weeks. Keep an eye on the milsim forum to see what people are interested in and how people are trying to advance the game to give you ideas.

It will not be october, it will be in November sometime. 10ringairsoft will be hosting the event. I just have to get a word back from the field with the okay, but if they fall through, have no fear I have 3 other LARGE fields to fall back on. We will get this event to be this year and I am going to try to get it to where you may come and register at any point in the game (within the registration times) I will also be done with the rules/story line by the end of this weekend. I know there will probably be BDU guidlines. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask......I am like working on this 24/7 so I will see how quickly I can get something organized and everything. I am going to shoot for maybe Mid-November for this event.

Negatoory on that! It will most likely be a 24 hour game. The Rules have been typed and we're just working on the backing story, I still haven't heard back from the field yet, I may just drive up there this week and ask in person, or ask to speak with the owner. I have left a couple of voicemails and countless emails and still no word, that is kinda pissin me off. but oh well, like I said, I have 3 other fields to fall back on if they don't agree. So yeah.
Don't forget about the *EMS* Skirmish on Oct. 22nd! Go to our Site for more Info!!!
