Replacement Auction Section

I think we should got back to the old "Trading Post" mode of AO. And introduce an eBay-esque, completed auctions rating in everyones profile. This mainly being because everyone already trys to do this in the Forums already, and in their signatures. Not alot of people go all the way through the auctions when they are looking for something anyway.

But, I think that if we had the old "Trading Post" brought back, it would need heavy moderation. I am willing to volunteer some of my time to my own idea, by patroling it. I think there should not be any WTB ads in this section. I think we should make a Forum for Trading Post and then 2 Sub-Forums. One labeled "For Sale" and another labeled "Wanted". I think this would help alot of guys trying to get rid of their gear, out a lot.

There is really no need to change it, most of the sales completed through the AO Auctions were not sold in an auction format. Many people use the current auctions as a trading post style listing. So it currently serves both functions.

This comes up about once a year, when we had the trading posts a lot of people said how cool it would be to have auctions. Simple fact is you just can't make everyone happy.
