The king of a major oil producing nation has died. His son, the Crown Prince, is a Muslim fundamentalist, dedicated to a Pan-Islamic state. he has indicated that he will cut off the West from vital oil supplies when he takes the crown.
The President is, in a word, incensed. Considering this to be an act of war, the President calls a top level cabinet meeting. It is there decided that there are only 2 options available. Declare war if supplies are cut off, or see to it that Crown Prince Ali never gains power.
A further meeting with the DCO at CIA results in Operation Black Sceptre. This operation cannot be undertaken by US troops. It has been handed to the CIA's Special Activities Division. Simply put, this is a kidnapping or assassination. The choice is to be made in the field by the Taam Leader, based on his real time intelligence.
IF necessary, kill him. If not, you are to take him prisoner and get him to your helicopter and fly him out to sea to a waiting vessel which will take him to a safe foreign country where he can spend the rest of his life in luxury as a 'guest' of that regime. If Ali gives you any crap at all, once he's in your custody.....shoot him. Should he become a liability in any way, shoot him. Stress to the good prince that his co-operation means his life.
SAD action team: No more than 10 men. NO US weapons, equipment or full uniforms.
Crown Prince's bodyguards should wear desert uniforms. The Arab headdress is optional. Remaining available people are part of the Royal Army.
Ali may wear what he likes. He may carry no weapon other than a rubber knife. (He's the King, his servants are charged with his protection. Failure means death.) Ali should be old enough to have a beard, for realism's sake.
