From the Forum Rule Set:
7. Signatures - Banners in signatures shall have dimensions no greater than 468 x 60 pixels. This was a unanimous decision amongst the moderators. If you can't have a banner within these dimensions, don't put it in your signature.
Looks like its too big to me.

I have told Foxtrot on numerous occations his banner is in violation of the rules. However, it remains and I do not have the power to force-remove it (which I would do if I could Fox ;) ).
It seems I am the only moderator here who is a signature banner nazi. The things really seem distracting to me, especially large, animated ones that have to load.
The rule is in place, and just because some other member chooses to not follow does it make it right for you to do so as well.

Actually, i have PMed members about signatures a few weeks ago. If other mods chose to and admin backs them, certain "sig privs" can be revoked.

 Seems kinda unfair to me... But so does the numerous daily posts relating to crap that the poster could find, if he just used that blinking button up there...
