Help me cox my mom,

Hey, Im trying to cox my mom in getting me a G3 Electric gun, she thinks the price is to high, and i told her airsoft is much cheaper in the long wrong.

Do you guys have any comments on helping me coxing my mom into getting this for my birthday?

Also can you list the Benfits or airsfot over Paintball?

The cost of paitballs is the only place you will save money. which is good:D However everything else is expensive. Its hard to take the cheap way.
When I switched from paintball I thought "Yah now I don't have to spend $100 on paintballs every time I play, think of all the gear I can buy with that." Now I probably spend even more:eek: I'm hooked.

Anyway, glad to see your interested, and DO NOT GO CHEAP with SAFETY GEAR especially with your eyes, your paintball mask works great for a start.
And G3s are sweet:)

ur a bboy???? tight, same here, yeah ill sell u my g3 sg1 for 300 dollars, with a battery and a really nice charger... I also did some mods to it, like eliminating the squeking it tends to have, and ive made the handguard awesome

I'd have to agree with bobby, here. If you are relying on your parents to buy your fun, perhaps showing your mom you're more willing to help out around the house would convince her.

If you want to impress a woman - any woman, be sincere. Do what you say you'll do. Most of all, show your mom some respect. If she says "no" then leave it alone. If your mom is so concerned with cost, see if she'll meet you half way. Take on additional responsibility around the house or get a job.

You're 16, you can get a perfectly crappy job at 16. It depends on how badly you want something and how badly you are willing to demean yourself to get it. Might as well start earning that bread now, when you still have self-esteem than later when you actually think your opinions matter. Yes sir, nothing like a good old fashion crappy job to break your spirits. If it helps, that dirty feeling you get for selling yourself for $6.25/hour never goes away.

And finally, nothing any of us say will convince a mom who thinks your too immature or wreckless. If you want to gain more freedom from parents, show them you are capable of making mature and responsible decisions.

And if that doesn't work, when you're 18, you can make your own decisions and buy your own toys. The money you save not having a girlfriend in college can just as easily be spent on airsoft guns, beer, and cheap hookers. Again, there's always financial aid...

Along the same lines as Texx, I recommend waiting until your 18 and in college, then take an extra $5000 in student loans and spend it on airsoft. Sure you'll eventually have to pay it off, but not for a while.

I had this same problem with me though. My parents were not down with airsoft one bit. It took me over a year of convincing.

May I suggest tell her you will get better grades or somthing. Thats what I did to get my first gun.

Another way to approach it is to GET A JOB!!! I had to work for 3 years to get enough money to buy a crap gun... your parents will not go for it i promise you as long as you dont have a job and dont help them at all.... that loan thing sounds nice i think i might just do that......**sound of my credit flying out the window**

HOOT is right on, you have to approach it in that maner. The thing that worked well for me for airsoft and other things when things happend at my job or when i was to young for a job was working it off. Just ask them for some odd jobs or witch ever they need done and let them know you can work it off. Not to sure how that will role out with your parents, but mine spoil me so it works for me haha
