It is my humble opinion that it would be beneficial to have an event date column in the Upcoming Events Forum. I am inclined to think so because...
1) Event organizers often are not clear about the date in the title or even the first post.
2) I, and I believe others, do not care to load and read threads that pertain to events already past, events on days of the week/month that I would not be able to attend, events not yet having a set date, or events flat out canceled.
3) Event date, along with event type, is simply one of the most critical pieces of information one looks at in this forum, more so than say replies, views, and last poster.
I don't know how hard/easy this would be to implement, but I knew it wouldn't hurt to suggest it.
