A few days ago, I bought 3 cans of green gas from the well know company jungle toy(part of 123airsoft.com) which is well know for their flaky products. For some reason it didn't work with my gun and I gave it up for trash after it failed to work with all 3 cans. I decided that it was time for a new pistol. I bought one form a local store know for its good products and good service. With it I bought a can of green gas. The same brand I bought form jungle toys. I decided for some reason to give the broken pistol one more try. I used some of the green gas I had bought from local store and it worked! It has worked flawlessly ever since. How can this happen? I know that the store is known for their flaky products, but how can they ruin gas???

Well of course there was gas in the cans, I could smell it. For some reason, the gas won't blow back the slide everytime. About half the time the slide won't move, but a bb would fly out. When I put in green gas from the local store, it worked every time.

I also had problems with gas from JT. (I was a noob and didn't know better) one of the cans I got from them had a slight crimp or crease in the top of the can that I didn't notice. After picking it up at the post office I was taking things in from the car when the can exploded. The flying top put a nozzle sized hole in the roof of my car. If anyone was around the results could have been tragic. Jungle Toy would not even respond to my e-mail. I for one will never have anything to do with them. I would not be at all suprised if you got cans with damaged nozzles or a slow leak.
Now that my rant is done, have you tried seeing if any gas comes out of the cans? Full or not if the nozzles are damaged they may just not be releasing gas.

My assessment is the same as that of Iron's (BTW, holy crap! that's some SERIOUS concerns! thanks for letting us know!).
Test to see if any gas actually comes out of the JT cans, not just that you can smell, but actually in sufficient quantities that you can achieve a proper fill.
Invert the canister over a hardcover book and press the nozzle into the cover -- this should result in your opening the spring loaded valve sufficiently to cause proper liquid-gas propellant exhaust. If you do not get a significant flow of propellant with this test, you've diagnosed your problem right there.

Well, I no longer have the cans, but when i was filling up my gun, there was gas that i could see going all over the place. Also I released the gas out of the mag and there was plenty to cause the slide to blow back.
