Too much San Andreas.

Maybe I'm playing too much GTA, but a crime scenario struck me today. It seems like a good idea, considering the number of SWAT type teams out there.
Two enemy gangs are in the middle of a violent gang war for turf to deal coke on. This is creating bad publicity for the police force so they decide to put a stop to it. First they plant a rumor on the streets that a colombian cartel is coming to town and looking for a gang to sell it's "wares." A meeting is set up in an old warehouse (or whatever is avalable) and the two gangs meet with the cartel leader, who is actually an undercover cop. One way or another, the cop's cover is blown, swat gets called in, and a huge threeway shootout results. The police would be trying to capture/kill all gang members, and the gang members would be trying to kill as many of the police and enemy gang members as possible and escape with the drugs

it'd be cool if the cops and gang memebers just had gas blowbacks, no AEG's

The gangs should have to wear street clothes, pistols and shottys only, with maybe one or two AEGs on each side. And the police (since it is the SWAT team being called in) can use whatever.
Also the gangs need to wear green and purple on the different sides.:D

How bout you just have a gangfight.. and instead of having someone play the cops.. wait till the real onees get called in.. you could even go around grafiting and smashing peoples cars witha baseball bat..

yeah that sounds cool.. maybe like a street clothes battle like in a EMPTY parking lot or something?

SWAT cant carry what ever they want they should have to carry mp5's and m4's only, maybe some tear gas, but nothing else.

Sounds like a cool scenario, but tear gas = me not coming. Seriuosly guys tears gas just sucks alot. You may also want to work on team size, i.e. 10 cops, and 32 gangstas total. Sounds cool, now you just need a ware house.

Not everyone has M4's and MP5's therefore, for the sake of having more people play, let the SWAT team use AEGs.
Also SWAT teams can carry more that just that. They carry shotties, Ruger Mini-14s (i think thats what they are called) and the snipers use M24's even.

As for tear gas,ARE YOU HIGH?!?!?! I certainly hope you didnt mean real tear gas, because mace is bad enough through indirect contact, and I dont think tear gas is easy to get or even legal.

On a more thoughtful note, the limiting the teams thing is nice.
