Was having a lil thought the other day.

First off, by having 1 small event i don't consider myself to be a prof organizer. i just try darn hard to make everyone happy. This is for people like me or more experienced organizers. I also comend those whom have kept competition loose and not made money the main focus here.

What if organizers got together and helped eachother in ohio to make events more dynamic. Not mix money but agree on certain items to buy. Organizers could buy the same radio type/ mortars/ bazooka/gen ordinance and connections (give aways etc) I am sure the list could go on and on so we will talk about that later.

So say blade is having an event down south and me/tac/wallace/3rd party decide to get in this league. We could all have the same type of radio mortars etc to bring and help make his event more dynamic and interesting.. Noone person can afford 20 mortars nice radios etc... We could also start collecting low caps as an example.. We could pay when we all decide on a new product or direction for airsoft in our area.. In turn i think this will help promote EPIC airsoft games where the outcome of say a springfield event can effect the start of a franbar or tac event.

With this "league" we could set a standard and a model for new fields and other states. We can incorporate and try new ideas without them burdening each organizer. Not to say that individualized events couldn't be made even by league members. but that we could have 4-5 games next year that had an epic theme at diff locations and we could all split the bill and keep what is ours...

Free speech fellows nothing is perfect we can get it right.. the process starts here.

I havent yet had the opportunity to host an event, or have any real concrete plans to do so anytime in the near future, but I support the idea behind this. It makes good sense for everyone. Attempts at cooperation between organizers does not neccesarily have to be limited to the form of attempts at standardizing rules. This all brings to mind the late HALO league concept. If this idea gains momentum, we should look back on what went wrong with HALO and why it came apart at the seams, so as to avoid the same mistakes and faults happening again.

I have seen events where more than one person has put it together, if the organizers communicate well and work together it can be a damned good event.

and if you are playing in niles i could possbily even come
