View Full Version : Classic airsoft?
I know I'm not the only one speaking here for this. But an idea..
By chance could we seperate the gas/general gas airsoft selection to seperate Classic Airsoft guns out of this? For the most part, yes they are gas. But they're are some spring guns as well as mixed AEG/Gas systems (i.e. Toy Tech P90.) So it would be hard to classify those.
Plus, this is an area it seems that AO is lacking on - but reasonable since most people here use contempary items. (i.e. AEGs.)

As little as perhaps the Airsoft Ohio Managment forum and its 1 or 2 threads... or even the little used bolt action forum...

You are not susposed to be able to see the AO Management forum!? Seems I having trouble getting that to be protected, can you still see it?
As for the Bolt Action forum, I agree, maybe we should just get rid of it and consolidate it to the spring guns forum?

Even if there are'nt many posts in the bolt action section, that does'nt mean we should get rid of it. Bolt action rifles are not the same as springers, and most of the posts in the bolt action section are from me.:D

Locutus:
In reguard to the managment forum, anyone with even quasi-moderator status can see, access, and post on it, including people like myself who are listed as team captains and thus moderators of our respective team forums on AO, this is also why my name is bold black in the list of online users.

I like the idea of a classic airsoft section b/c I'd like to lean more about what airsoft was like b4 i got into it (and mostly what the guns were like). Also i wouldn't combine springers and bolt ation forums together. I never read anything about springers but i generally try to read everything else as much as my free time allows, including bolt ation guns.

I second that because I to want a CA M15A4(m4). It would be good to have a seperate forum for Tokyo Marui and classic army.

That M1A1 Thompson You are building for me is the only AEG I own.
My other two guns, and the next few I plan to purchase, are what could probably be called "classics". And Classics arent just "really old gas guns." they are also guns that were or are being produced in Very Limeted Numbers and sold as "colectors items".
There May be more than Just Me and Fox out there who are interested in such weapons.
Personaly however, I am Satisfied with www.Classicairsoft.net
I dont really see a "need" for another section.

Pred,
The M1A1 is a classic REAL gun, but not a classic airsoft gun.

Locutus, I believe what he meant was that the other guns he owns are classic airsoft, not the M1A1.
