I have a gas blow back glock 23. The slide will come back for the first shot, but will not return to reload gas into the gun nor reload a bb into the chamber:confused: . If you have any idea what is wrong with the gun, please tell me. I already tried more gas, and unjamming it, but it never was jemmed in the first place.

Did you try stripping and lubing it?

Ok first of all:
Do you have a metal slide and/or barrel. If you have the slide do you have a steel guide rod?
How much gas are you putting in?
I had this problem with my g23 before too.

I have this same "problem" with my G23. I have a metal slide on it but this phenomina only happens with the first 2 or 3 shots. I usually just keep my thumb behind the slide to instantly return it, but i would like to know how to fix this as well.

Ok one of two things are wrong nosebuckle.
When loading the gun do the following:
1. Place the bb's in making sure that they stack correctly. The one on the bottom must be on the right side or it won't load right.
2. Hold upside down and hold the gas in for 3.5-4 seconds.
3. Cock the gun.
4. Fire.
If something is wrong after that do this:
1. Make sure your hammer is connected correctly.
2. When you cock your gun make sure that when it is totally cocked back you can barely(or not even)see the gas cylinder.
3. If all above is fine then unscrew the site from the inside and check to make sure that there is a the small spring in one of the sides of the gas cylinder. I don't have my manual with me but in the manual if you look at the cylinder you see a small spring with an arrow pointing to the cylinder.
The gas cylinder is HIGHLY prone to cracking. It is because it takes a lot of stress and is made of plastic.
If there is a crack the cylinder is about 6 bucks and if you need one I can get it for you. I am however out in California.
The spring I can also(probably)get for you if you need it.
