Suit and Tie battles?

Hi everyone, this forum is going pretty slow, so I'm just throwing an idea on the table.

Okay, I know I'll probably get alot of flak for this from the milsim guys, and probably alot of people, but I'm ready for it. I always thought it would be cool to be like "Neo" or Jet li. You know, wearing your Armani, diving, and just being cool? Getting out all your GBB's, and maybe rolling out a few cameras. It's pretty impossible since I don't think any building owners would let some guys run around shooting each other.

Like I said, Just an idea on the table.

That is more like something I would do around my house with my Socom than on a field getting my threads dirty.

I doubt he meant a real Armani, just something set up non-military and more of a james bond / spy setup. I dont know about wearing a tux or anything, even a suit would be a bit far fetched for me. However, a trenchcoat full of GBB's and a pair of cool Wiley goggles would be a bit reasonable.

Yeah, I doubt most of us could afford an Armani, but I was thinking more of just something different for airsoft. I had another idea for Western Gentlemen's Duels too, but that's another story. DRAW!

Back in the pre-hack days, I listed a 'suit and tie' game designed for CQB. It was to be played in the Huntington WV arena.

I will try this again:

First, we need to set the main arena up with chairs to represent a conference of some sort.

A Presidential figure, a podium and a crapload of guards. The "President' or other important figure is giving a 'speech' to the crowd
(all wearing goggles of course) when a messenger appears on stage and hands the President an envelope. Several of the guards produce their weapons at the ready and grab the President and haul off with him to parts unknown in the building.

From there, it's a "get the President out of the building vs keep the bad guys from GETTING the President out of the building" game...with a twist. The message reads:

THERE IS A 5 KT NUCLEAR DEVICE IN THE BUILDING SET TO DETONATE IN 1 HR. IT IS CAPABLE OF TAKING OUT HUNTINGTON.

Now, you must decide...save the President or find and disarm the device.

CQB weapons (Uzi, Steyr TMP, Scorpion, MAC10 etc) are the order of the day. LONG GUNS are restricted to "military" (10% in BDUs and not suits) and "terrorists" helping the renegade guards (10%).

IF people aren't comfortable with "President" the title of the abductee can be changed to something else.

That's a really great idea man! Maybe not suits though, I am rethinking that. Maybe just civies/business attire?(You know, collar/tie/khakis) Is the huntington field a big building or something?

I'm in. I'm thinking that maybe we could sit something like this up in October that would be cool. I'd set limit for 60 people and have like other games to be held during the day like swat type scerions and etc. That my imput on the idea. BTW maybe maybe we could also use the MC51, Car 15, Mp5K, Mp5PDW, and maybe a few stockless shotgun.

im not quite sure im gettting all this. president is making a speech, yes. guards have guns and all that good stuff to protect him. there are people listening to him. the terror threat is a bomb, so you expect 60 people to pull out pistols, shotguns, and other cqb weapons to hunt down what? the bomb? hehe, just thought u could give a lil more detail on what we are to be shooting at

The people listening to the speech need guns. It would be kinda scary if everyone in the crowd pulls out a gun, it makes security look terrible. Maybe an armory in the building, and civilians are deputized. But otherwise I love the idea. But could you find a place that big in Ohio that people would have permission to battle in.

i dont really like the idea of setting my airsoft stuff in a room and leaving it along with 60 or 70 other STRANGERS. call me paranoid, but i just dont want my stuff stolen

The issuie with the weapons though you provided your weapons to you and no one else unless you've decided otherwise. We could always have a respectable person look over the guns until there given to there owners. That's my input.

This might cost a little, but you could have the guns in lockers and each person only has the key or combination for that locker or something else with a lock. Then trust isn't an issue.

The 'audience' would have their guns, however, a certain amount of time would be given after the abduction for the terrorists to get away. No guns could be displayed until the time is past. (Technically, the audience and the FBI, Secret Service, NEST people are the same obviously.)

Please note, this doesn't have to literally take place in the US. It could take place in a fictional country. We all know the USSS would sweep the building throughly before a principal was allowed in.

That seams like it would get to be to long. There wouldn't be much action by the sound of it.

Nah, the thing that usually makes games take too long is a weak organizer who screws around too much and doesnt just use a little command presence and say "Get out there"

I hear milism guys complain about people coming out in matrix garb. I don't mind it and feel if they feel smooth or somehting i am happy for them. Anyway. I think you could get enough matrix fans and people in suits to recreate a lil movie remake.

For the sake of milism style without the clothing we could recreate scenes from the movie.

Wallaces place would be great for it. There were a few gun fights in what looked like old buildings. An the parkin lot is close so you can leave your precious gun there.

Since everyon knows the plot we should be able to make some cool scenrios. And the guys in suits can just pretend they are gangsters as i will.


Only other idea would be a bonny and clyde type. Where they are held up in a house after a bank robbery. break out the tompsons pistols and shottys. Cops can wear cowboy hats and deputy dog badges.
