Battery snapped

OK I am not sure where this goes but here it is. I have a 9.6v 1700mAh Ni-Cad Nun-Chuck Style Battery and where the one black wire( not the one by the red that goes into the plug) has broken. I am not going to just go out and buy a new battery. it was $44 bucks plz help!!!!!!!!!!:( :(

Just go to a hobby shop and ask if someone there will fix it. All the have to do is re-soder it onto the battery pack.

simply just use a wire stripper and strip a small portion or each side of the black wire then twist each end together as a quick fix until you can take it to a hobby shop as tripod mentioned, or find an electrician and i am sure he will gladly soder it back together for free.
