ok this is just an idea and possibly just a longshot of it ever actually happening. i was browsing through ebay lookin for some hicaps and standards today and i saw one that was like 4 bucks for an aeg mag for CA, TM and ICS and i looked at it and it says $3.99. Well the mags are for only 30 rounds... so i got to thinking.
one of the biggest thrills and reasons why people get into airsoft is for the realism right? kinda shows you how it feels to be in combat situations, just without the big penalty of wrong doing. well, i was thinking about an idea for an event. having to reload after 30 shots is really how it is done, why not incorperate this into a style of playing? for such a cheap price i think it would be fun. heres the plan:
wholesale these mags for lots of different types of guns, or have people register with the type of gun they will bring and order as many needed. i or the host of the event could then rent or even sell the mags to the players at the event, that way the money is paid back, or the price could even be included in a fee to play. either way would work. this idea sort of tops off the realistic approach and in my mind if you could get a lot of people to go it would be lots of fun. ever play counterstrike or dod and have to reload in the middle of a firefight? well this way you will really have to think about where your shooting, instead of just blindfiring and unloading at nothing cuz you have some tank *** 450 round hicap for the new m4s.. that i now have ;) . Included with this idea would be some good game situations and scenarios to make it even better. again this idea might be a really big longshot but it popped into my mind today and i thought maybe i'de get it out. hell this is even my first post haha. well thanks for listening and tell me what you think and please please give me some more ideas or something. i know they make these mags for the m16/m4 classes but i'm not sure about the others so that could even be the /end to all this. haha ok i'm done now. thanks
